It's super sturdy and we use it every day my family probably refills it 2 to 3 times a day and it's going strong. We've replaced the filter and it was the easiest filter I've ever replaced… No more gallons of charcoal water dumped out before you can drink it. Insane it taste difference from tapwater to this filter. We think it's yummy.
This is great and I cook a lot and use this for all water for that too. Only need to switch the filter every six weeks. I set a reminder on my phone. That is when I give it a full deep clean. I love it so much when the reservoir on mine cracked after 6 years I bought another. I also bought for my neighbor and their large family.
We were filling up our small pitcher all the time. I can fill this one once a day or twice if we have extra people that day. I have enjoyed it. Takes up room in the fridge. I keep it on the counter and have to pull it out far enough to get a glass under it. I have not regretted it at all.
Great at filtering water, which my water is awful from the tap. Taste great and easy to use. But sometimes I think the shape could be just a tiny bit different as it is a little long on small studio apartment counters. But over all it fits and works great, and changing the filter is a snap. Try it you'll like it.
Finally found a water filter that fits my fridge. The dimensions were perfect for my Medium size fridge. Love that I don't have to waste money buying bottled water anymore. The water tank is small, so you'll have to fill twice to get a full container. The spigot can fully bent to pour without holding or tilted to pout or demand. 10/10 recommend.
Excellent product and service from pur. Taking it out of the package the insert fell and cracked so water was going through filter and crack when filling. I sent a messager to pur explaining and within a week they had shipped me a new one no questions asked. Put the new one together and i love it. Fresh tasting cold water from the fridge.
So far so good. Just trying to save some money by not buying so many cartons of bottled water. However, I only gave 4 stars because the product description says 30-cups - however, that's just not possible. When filled to the very top “max fill” line and reservoir then full, I've measured this out multiple times using 16.9oz water bottles. The actual MAXIMUM volume of the reservoir is exactly 16.25 CUPS - which is not even close to 30! Using 16.9oz plastic water bottles, only 7 can be completely filled, and 1 more only filling up to 3/4. Total of filled 16.9oz bottles = 7.75: 7.75 x 16.9 = 130oz 130oz = 16.25 cups
Our water tastes better with using this filter. Word of caution: The spout handle will leak if slightly depressed backwards, filling the fridge with water. Also, after short use, the water filters much slower than it did initially. Maybe we have water that is that bad? Not sure, but I would buy again.
got this item for a good price however after reading on how to put it together and flush the filter out like it said to do. i filled it up and tasted the water. Needless to say the water taste worse than my tap water. leaves a metallic baking soda taste in my mouth. since drinking it i have had upset stomach and headache as well as nausea. Not very happy with this purchase will be returning
Initially, the product proved convenient. However, after the first use, I discovered significant water leakage inside the refrigerator. I initially attributed this to user error, repositioning the container to prevent contact between contents and the handle. Subsequently, even more substantial water occurred on the refrigerator's glass panel. Relocating the container to the countertop isolated the source of the leak. I intended to return the item to Walmart for an exchange, but unforeseen circumstances, including a severe snowstorm and subsequent illness, prevented timely action, exceeding the return window. Therefore, I am now left with this defective product, which I currently store on the countertop. The only positive aspect is my preference for room-temperature water; however, this is a poor substitute for a functional appliance.
