I have been using a huge Brita 27 cup water dispenser. It was taking up too much room in the fridge. I decided to downgrade in size. Since I had not tried the Pur brand, I based my purchase on price. The price was significantly lower. I drink 30 oz at a time and I can fill up (2) 30 oz tumblers before I refill. There is still water in the pitcher. I just want to make sure it is cold whenever I go back to fill up. I don't particularly care for filtered Pur taste. I can tell there is a difference between tap water and Pur filtered water. Since I use flavor syrups and packets, the taste isn't an issue. I don't like the size of the opening for adding water. It flips up and you have to aim for the hole. My solution is to take the lid off and fill. I do like that the lid will not sit in place when the lid flap is open. It must be closed. The filter filters the water rather quickly. I do love the size, as far as height and width. It doesn't take up a lot of room. Aside from the hole, I have no complaints.
I didn't think I would ever switch from Brita and I accidentally ordered the wrong refill for Pur. I ended up ordering the PUR pitcher (on sale-a Plus) and it is better all around. The quickness of making a pitcher, it tastes great and the refill screws in tight so it doesn't fall out if you accidentally tilt the pitcher too high. Highly recommend. I ordered a 7oz thinking it would be too small and it's just the right size.
when I bought it my idea was to save on having to buy so many packs of bottled water and my tap water was basically undrinkable just taste the nasty it's actually made it taste like fresh spring water or fresh mountain water tasted natural best item ive tried so far
I always thought that these pictures were bogus, but I purchased one because my water taste horrible. I was very surprised at how much better the taste of my water is after using. PUR Great bye for a great product wish I would've done it sooner
I changed over from a larger and slower brand, I am new to this brand, and I am loving it. The pitcher is not too heavy, holds just the right amount of water and is very fast so that I'm not waiting too long when I add the water. Very satisfied with the price point and the filter price point too. The pitcher does arrive with the first filter; I went ahead and bought more so that they are on the ready when it comes time to change those.
This product is great and helps you save on buying bottled water and it makes your water taste better than bottled water….
My tap water was not drinkable so this pitcher was a life changer it can hold a lot of water for its size
I think it was about $20 I wondered why others were more money The front flap broke off as I tore the packaging off. I had to tape it back on the filter that came with the pitcher said press the green light to get an alert when the filter was done well this pitcher had no such light. I guess that's an extra and I don't know if this is a basic $7.50 filter or $20 filter. I really didn't know what to look for an pitcher or cost %26 type of filters
Was initially thrilled at the price point and needed a pitcher to keep cold water in the fridge. I already have the faucet attached pur filtration system which works great, but having cold water is still a must in summertime. The small plastic flip lid to pour water in has two tiny plastic nubs it clicks into place by, and within 48 hours one side has somehow already broken off. No mishandling, and an annoying shame because the flip top unless taken off now can fall into the water. Two days! It was a clearance item and now I see why. Would go with a brita for the extra money and smarter design form if I had to purchase again. Filter wise it works as advertised, it needs to be filled twice to fill the pitcher , but for under 20 it is what it is.
I was sent a lid that doesn't fit. Possibly a old model piece with a new model piece! There is now to use it!
