PUR PLUS 7 Cup Pitcher Filtration System, PPT711W, White/Blue

I received the PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher and am very satisfied with the item. Water tastes really good and hope to save money by no longer spending money on packaged water bottles. Easy to figure out and even has a sensor telling you when to change out the filter. Easy to assemble and it had very thorough instructions.

I have wanted to get away from individual water bottles for quite some time due to waste. I received this Pur water pitcher to solve that problem! Perfect size to fit in the refrigerator. Awesome handle - easy to lift. Not too big to where it's too heavy once filled with water, but not too small to where it's frustrating to have to fill several times a day like other pitchers. The filter removes all nasty flavors from local tap water - love this pitcher!!

I received this PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher with Lead Removal, for free in exchange of an honest review.  This pitcher is clear color. With a white lid and blue filter in it. It has a small button where you press on it , hold it for 5 seconds to reset.  It will let you know when you need to replace your filter.  The green is for an ok filter,  yellow is for a soon Replacement and the red means you need to replace it now.  The filter is very easy to put together.  All you do is put the blue top in it. Then put the filter inside the pitcher , then you twisted it. Then you let the water run down the whole where it gets filter. I recomend for you too filter your water 15 minutes before you actually need it. It does take a few minutes for it too filter the water. So if you need the water right away it wont be ready. Since the top part where it holds the water before it gets filter it's small and filled right away then you have to wait for the water to get filtered in order too fill it up again all that process takes a few minutes.  I decided to test the water with my son. I got water from the sink and left the cup on the table. Then put water from the sink on my pitcher wait for it to get filter . After a few minutes served that water in another cup. I asked my son to tasted the water . After he tried the water a few times I asked him which water he liked more. He chose the water that I had served from the pitcher.  I asked him what was the difference because both of the cups wore water from the sink. He said the other water he didn't like had an after taste of some kind of bleach or something old and rusty.  He said the other water that he actually like tasted like water that we usually buy at the stores.I also  tasted the difference . The filter water has a way better taste.  To me the other water even smelled like metal or rusty a smelled I can't really explain.  There was just one thing I didn't like about the PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher its lid. I know it has to be removed lid for you can place the filter inside.  I only wished it would be more secure when putting it on the pitcher.  That's the only thing I didn't like about my pitcher.  Other then the lid It gets the job done. I do recommend this PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher with Lead Removal to everyone.

I have been eyeing the PUR line of water filter pitchers for a while now but never got around to buying one. So now I get to see what I have been missing out on! So our refrigerator has a water filter in it but we have not gotten around to ordering a new filter, as we can not find one at a local store but have to order it online. Getting it out and ready to use was easy enough to read the directions and understand. You have to take out the filter and soak it in water for 15 minutes, no less! It is very important you follow that step as it is essential to the lead removal. It is very easy to rinse, and then install in the pitcher as all you do is lock it in the pitcher clockwise. Then you fill the top water reservoir with water and wait for the pitcher and filter to work its magic! Now you can not be impatient for it to start filtering, just fill the reservoir and put in the refrigerator. I thought it was taking too long but it is just the process. It suggests through the troubleshooting that if it seems like it is taking longer than usual you should take the filter out and shake it vigorously to loosen up the charcoal. Another nice feature is the filter gauge! It lights up green if the filter is good, yellow if it is going bad, and red when you need to replace it! It lights up after you pour your water, which is a nice reminder! You really can not go wrong with the PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher with Lead Removal!

I like this one. It has color-coded lights that blink to let you know when it's time to change the filter. It has a place in the lid you can pour water in without having to take the whole lid off. Just don't try to pour water out while water is still in the upper blue section. It's very nice to have and convenient to have and to use.

I love the ease of the thumb-operated cover, thus eliminating the awkwardness of getting the older model lid to snap-back into place when refilling the pitcher. Just as before, to replace the filter, you must soak it in water for 15 minutes, then flush for 10 seconds before inserting into the pitcher. The new filter removes 99% of lead, 92% of mercury, 92% of certain pesticides, 99% of microbial cysts, and reduces the smell and taste of chlorine. The Clean Sensor Monitor gives a clear indication of the state of the filter, which filters for 40 gallons, or up to two months. Additionally, the pitcher is BPA-free. I LOVE this new PUR pitcher and the way it makes our water taste. I trust this product completely and never want to be without it!

The PUR pitcher is an amazing product! With a capacity of 7 amazing cups, this product easily fits anywhere in places like your fridge and more for storing! You can access cleaner drinking water through this as well. The lid for it is also easy to fill and opens and closes without trouble. When this package came in the mail, it wasn't damaged at all and really easy to open and use. What's amazing about this pitcher is that it's clean and allows you to have an amazing, comfortable grip on its handle. The filter removes 99% of lead and is incredibly accurate. Besides this, it also reduces chlorine and it's taste, along with more bacteria in water. You know you can take this product seriously since it was even certified by WQA. By just simply using this pitcher, you can save up to $1000 a year as well! This product is excellent and reduces how many plastic bottles you use in a year, which also brings down how much you spend on water yearly as well. I highly recommend this PUR pitcher. 

I received my, PUR Ultimate 7 Cup Pitcher with Lead Removal, PPT711W, which I immediately put to use. It has been made with quality BPA free materials and should last for a long time. The size(7cups) is a great size to serve from. I feel great drinking water from this pitcher because we are on well water and this will filter out the lead to make drinking it safer than when not using it. This has a *Clean sensor monitor* that lights up to inform you that the filter needs changing. The filter should be able to clean about 30 gallons. The PUR filter cartridges and pitchers are interchangeable with each other so if you decide to buy a larger pitcher and have extra filters from a previous PUR pitcher you can use them in your new larger pitcher too.

It removes many chemicals like: Lead, Mercury and Chlorine between 96-99 percent; it reduces 23 contaminants and substances. It is a 7 cup pitcher; and can be used for many things around your home: Cooking, Formula, Ice, and Pets. It also helps save plastic bottle usage of around 3,000 a year. I like the slim design and the clean sense feature.

PUR WATER FILTER PITCHER IS A GREAT IDEA. IT COMES WITH ONE FILTER TO GET YOU STARTED AND YOU CAN BUY REPLACEMENT FILTERS JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE. IT IS A LITTLE SLOW, BUT THE FILTERING SYSTEM GETS RID OF THE CONTAMINATES AND TASTE OF CHLORINE SO NOW WE CAN FILL THE PITCHER AND PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE GET WHAT AMOUNT YOU WANT WHENEVER NEEDED. SAVES FROM BUYING BOTTLED WATER AND THE PLASTIC BOTTLES SITTING AROUND EVERYWHERE WITH HALF A BOTTLE WASTED. THE SIZE OF THIS PITCHER IS JUST RIGHT FOR MY FAMILY. THE DRAWBACKS I SEE IS THAT IT IS SLOW AND ONLY FILTERS ABOUT 40 GALLONS OF WATER PER FILTER OR @ 2 MONTHS. I CHECKED ON ORDERING REPLACEMENT FILTERS AND GOOD NEWS IS THE FILTERS FIT ALL SIZES OR THE PUR PITCHERS. NOT YET SURE ABOUT THE COST EFFECTIVENESS V/S BOTTLED. HAS TO BE BETTER.
