I really liked how they loved it. I thought the freeze-dried preparation was great, and I was impressed by how my dog's overall seemed a little better and one of my dogs who seems to have diarrhea at times when he eats has not had any problems at all. I have tried probably a half a dozen dog brands and this one we are going to settle on.

Traditional dog kibble is giving our pets carcinogens on a daily basis. Because this freeze-dried mostly meat food is lighter, because of the dehydration process. So you can't compare the respective weights of traditional kibble and this much healthier alternative. The focus is on more protein and nutrition and smaller portions. You can add your own water. Our miniature schnauzer love it. If you want your dog to live a longer, healthier, happier, livelier life, give this a try. It's MUCH LESS expensive than the comparable vet-marketed specialty products. And it's certainly handier than making your own version that must be portioned and frozen. We tried this.

Pure Balance Freeze-Dried is the best quality for the money non-kibble dog food that does not have corn or other grains or fillers, but only healthy ingredients prepared to preserve their values without adding unwanted byproducts of processing. It can be used dry or by adding water, although our dog was not too sure about the floating pieces and the time to totally rehydrate may be prohibitive. It is comparable to Ultimate Pet Nutrition for less money and a far better product for the money than Farmer's Dog, which really helps with the feeding bill for larger dogs like our Labrador. The product is not easy to find, and add to this Walmart's online ordering with fast and free delivery and the combo cannot be beat! :-)

Its spendy when you only get bags of so many ounces but I feel its better for my dog than kibble and he likes beef and chicken both! hes very excited to eat now!

My pickiest dogs love this. My 80 lb pitbull who hates kibble will eat this. The issue is cost. Freeze dried is very expensive

Not the same as the last ones I ordered. Smaller amount for a higher price. My dog loves them either way!

I love to use this as a meal topper for my dog. It's pure protein very simple clean ingredients and he loves it. Also makes good treats.

My pups love it, I love that they love it, but it's still far too expensive to sustain for larger dogs, at least on my budget.

Product has strong chemical smell and was as hard as kibble if not worse. If I am going to spend money on freeze dried pet food I am willing to spend a little more for something quality.
