Effective Supplement – Be Aware of Smell and Taste Pure Encapsulations Selenium is excellent for thyroid support and antioxidant benefits. I trust it because it's free from allergens, GMOs, and unnecessary additives, and the capsules are easy to swallow. Just a heads-up: it has a strong smell and slight sulfur-like taste, which is normal for selenium in its natural form (selenomethionine). It may be unpleasant at first, but it means the product is potent and working as it should. Highly recommend for those who want clean, effective supplements!
Ask any holistic Practitioner what kind of selenium should one supplement with, they will tell you that only Selenomethionine is the only one to consume. Others use different sources sources such as yeast. NOT preferred.
Used for 1 month and will re-order and use longer to see the full effects.
I've noticed a difference in energy and overall feeling better.

Selenium is reportedly a great supplement for fixing thyroid problems.

I use this because there are no extra fillers and comes highly recommended. It's too early to know if it's effective. It does have a strong odor (similar to a rotten egg smell), but that wouldn't stop me from using it.
I received this supplement with serious labeling issues that raise concerns about its authenticity and safety. The product has two inappropriate “expiration dates” on it: 1. Main label: The expiration date on the main label appears suspicious. The printing quality of this date doesn't match the rest of the label content - it looks like it was added separately or printed differently. More concerning, this date can be easily removed, which is not normal for legitimate product labeling. 2. Barcode label: There is a second label with a barcode that shows another expiration date. This label shows clear signs that someone attempted to remove the expiration date on this label is “partially erased” and there are visible marks on it. Having two expiration dates, with one being easily removable and the other being partially erased, makes it impossible to trust the actual expiration date of this product. This appears to be evidence of tampering or relabeling, which is unacceptable for a supplement I'm supposed to consume. I am requesting either a full refund or a replacement with a properly labeled, authentic product with a single, clear, and intact expiration date. I will update the review if I receive a feedback.
