I don't at all understand why the reviews on this are so mediocre. All I can think of is most of the people are probably trying to use this pen for Ypres or scratches that it isn't intended for, like very deep scratches for example. If you have minor scuffs or scratches in the CLEAR COAT of your vehicle, this pen will cover it as well or better than anything else I have tried. It repairs clear coat scratches incredibly well and makes them virtually invisible. I would highly recommend this to my closest friends and family!
I will recommend it, works really good
It basically does what it says if you follow the directions. I applied the product as instructed and waited two days, then I used Meguire's Scratch X2 with a power buffer and removed all of the repair residue and it leaves the clear coat paint repair product just in the scratched area, masking the scratch. It looks 90% better.
I followed the instructions but it makes a clear coat scratch look like you went over it with a glue stick, and the scratch is still easily visible
Disappointed with this product, however for the price I should have known it would not meet my expectations. Which is the reason body work is so costly. The pen itself was inexpensive, which is why I thought, no harm to try it. I was attempting to repair damage from what looked like the car was keyed, it was not deep but enough to be caught by your fingernail. In the end, I have an appointment at the body shop next week to fix it. Learn from my mistake, don't waste your time or money. I would have given this 0 rating, but the lowest option is 1 star.
I try this product recently with some small light scratchs at the door handle. Boy, what a waste of time. Then I got the Meguiar's G10307 ScratchX 2.0 from Amazon for less and it works like magic! I wouldn't give one star if I could.
It's doesn't help for what it's mean for, waste of money
Do not waste your time or money. It seriously looks like you painted clear nail polish over the scratch. You can still see the scratch plus now there's a streak of clear polish on top of it.
This product doesn't do any good to the scratches.
Don't even bother buying it makes a lot of mess and it doesn't do what it says
