This is amazing!!!! I didn’t realize how well it was working until I saw the sticky pad. I had been bed ridden due to surgery so hounding the kids to shut doors before insects fly in has not been happening. I suggest turning all lights off in the room it is in so that is the only light flys and fruit flies are attracted to. Zoom close on picture and you can see the insects collected.
I have a small patio that just started filling up with small flies and mosquitoes. This has never been a problem, and I can't keep them from coming inside. Ugh! This little light trap is plugged in upside down (because of the outlet box) about 3ft from my door. First night, maybe 1 bug was on there and I was disappointed. Second night though, it's covered with lots of mosquitoes! There are also some little flies and 1 moth. Not sure why it doesn't work for some people, maybe they didn't peel the plastic off the sticky pads? I'm ordering refills now. Yes, I'd recommend giving it a try!
This product works great for me. I bought it about a week ago and have it plugged in next to my fruit bowl. The number of gnats flying around has reduced quite a bit. I have no complaints, it does what it says it will do. Maybe some of you have some clever gnats at home, but it works great on the dumb ones we have around here!
Long story but I’ll try to make it short. I’ll eventually email Walmart on my deliveries and packaging problems. Driver literally took a picture of his vehicle door and the street. Received last night. The Raid light trap box was smashed up pretty bad. Surprisingly nothing was damaged. My 12 yr old son put it together and plugged it in around 5pm. An hour later we had 1 fly and 5 mosquitoes. With all the lights on in the house, very surprised there was anything on it. My rating is on the product. I’m not going to give the product less stars because of Walmart’s packaging and deliveries. 5 stars so far. The light attracts insects and the sheet that slips in is sticky on both sides, so the insects get stuck to the sheet. I like being able to grab the sheet to throw it away without having to touch any insects. If things keep going like this I need to buy refills asap. Never had an insect issue until our neighbors moved in and have barnyard animals. My daughter feeds their cow at night, so I’m not complaining. Just know animals attract insects.
All of a sudden I had little tiny gnats in my house. I have tons of house plants and my collection grows more frequently than I will admit lolll. It seemed to happen overnight. These little buggers are attracted to heat at night so they'll float around your face but you don't necessarily see them but I can feel them. SO ANNOYING!!! Swatting at something I can't even see! Then opening my doors and windows brought in a few mosquitoes. I thought for sure I'd lose my mind. These lights work fantastic!! I only bought one light to try it out. After seeing how well it works, I really don't think I'll need to set up another one. I'm attaching a picture of the blue sticky board so you can see what it caught this past week. I also flipped the board around to use the other sticky side as well.
What I dislike is that there’s not a device designed to screw in to a lighting fixture. Everyone’s always quick to make something to plug-in plug-in for air freshener plug-in this plug-in thatWhat about screwing into your light fixture
I plugged this in about a week ago in my kitchen and already have about 20 gnats on each side. I love that it’s a nightlight and it attracts the gnats very well. I’ll definitely buy a couple more.
doesn't work that well. with a name brand in bug spray i expected better. the gnats crawl around the part that's not sticky and avoid the part that is sticky. left all day and all night only 3 out of many got caught on it. the gnats are still a problem
doesn't work at all. total waste of money. we have flies in our house for some reason everyday now not a ton but enough that is gross and we have to catch him with the fly swatter and thought this would be awesome. has not caught one doesn't work at all. total waste of money. wish it was the Amazon cuz I could return it
This idea is a waste of hard earned money. I had this plugged in for 2 nights and never caught as much as a single gnat!!! I have another insect catcher that I got on Amazon and with it and the Raid both on the second night, the Amazon one got a fly and numerous gnats. I’m returning the extra 2 that I bought.
