These are of excellent quality and quite a value on a cost basis as well. While it's January and soups, stews and other hearty meals are on the calendar, I expect to be reaching into the package all the way through at least the fall if not next winter.

Ever smelled a fresh, fragrant, Bay Leaf?!? Neither had I before I bought these! I used to joke that someone waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day needed money so they convinced cooks these random leaves were the secret to a delicious dish 😆. These are crazy good, the best I've ever worked with and, while no professional, I know my way around a kitchen.

Best bay leaves ever. All others are small dried out and wilted. These are jumbo. 1 equals at least 3 normal size bay leaves or 4. They are so vibrant green while cooking with them. Almost like using fresh. Yes they are dried but they are not brittle and brown like other dried bay leaves.

I OPENED THE PACKAGE TO PLACE IN AIRTIGHT GLASS jar .THE AIR WAS FILLED WITH THIS AMAZING AROMA! I HAD ONE LARGE LEAF N A SMALLER ONE INSIDE THE BAG, I CANT wait to place it into a pan just to have my HSE smell like this. I certainly WISHED WE TEXT A SMELL so I COULD SHARE THIS AROMA. THE PRICE WAS NICE !! The shipping bad was so good, I'm gonna reuse it again!! The container was thick enough to leave it in , but I use canning jars !! The leaves are VERY NICE , I wanted to protect them from damage in my spice area. I've bought bay leaves from a super store , and they were NOT AS GOOD, smell , COLOR WAS NOT GOOD, broken n the stems were in their plastic container. bay leaf has many health benefits: lowers cholesterol, lowers stress, is antimicrobal, has antioxidants. i love the taste. to keep people from choking on the leaf I'd take it out when good was done. then i began taking many leaves %26 put them in the blender. now with this wonderful powdered leaf i add it to food and get the same benefit as bay leaf tea. it's good in meat, carrots, beets, and anything bay leaf would be added to. when i'll make pickles i'll add powdered bay leaf.

I like quality Spices--these appear to be good Value. The Leaves are Large %26 Firm--stay together during Cooking. Flavor is better--use less leaves. *Some Bay Leave are Ratty %26 broken Pieces...these are good.**I WILL BUY THESE AGAIN!

This is very misleading for a customer because they are advertised at bay leaves, but these are Indian bay leaves which are completely different to the ones we use in regular cuisine. I already opened the bag so I can't return them, but I'm glad I realized it as soon as I smelled them or I would have had a culinary disaster. There is not the slightest resemblance to regular bay leaves (Laurus nobilis). The ones you sent are Indian Bay Leaf (Tej Patta). You did NOT indicate that in your website. So unless you're a food connoisseur or Indian, you cannot know there is a difference. Change that freaking name and don't show them in a search for bay leaves. I thought I was getting a bargain with a lot of leaves and now I'm stuck with them. They smell like eucalyptus. The only thing I could use them is for pest control.

never showed up. in fact it was here in the same state an hour and a half away next i know it was shipped way over to the east coast to VA nowhere near me and not an update at all nor has the selling reached out as of yet. i have reached ojt to them i wamt my order im so tired of dealing with issues on walmart period.

I could not use this product since the bag was completely open when I received it. The smell was very unappetizing and I don't know if it was because it was opened.I tried reaching out to Wal Mart to replace or refund and didn't get a satisfactory response. Since AI is now taking their calls it's time consuming and a very unsatisfactory process.

product does not come in a sealable package. not a good pzacking system to keep the herb fresh, %26 from becoming stale %26 absorbing other flavors from the spice rack.
