I'm A huge fan of this brand of Marinara. It's aa little more than some of the others I've tried but it's worth it. It's thicker, it seems to stretch further and the flavor is has that ping when it hits your taste buds and wakes them up that I love.
Finally tried this brand of sauce. It did not disappoint… Not as sweet as I would normally like, but that's the point to eliminate added sugars. The thickness and consistency is perfect with chunks of tomatoes throughout. Used as a pizza sauce, which turned out perfect. Flavorful and fresh tasting would like to make this my new regular sauce, but it is so expensive.
Rao's products are always highly recommended by professional chefs. I figured these chefs know what they are talking about. After trying their products myself, I have found the chefs' know what is the best. Rao's products are very authentically Italian and offered at great prices. Try it. I hate what I have come to call Southern Italian products. They aren't genuinely Italian. These products are Southern versions. If I want Southern food, I order or make Southern food. Good Lordy!!!!
We love this sauce. It tastes really good. A bit higher in cost than most other brands but, it's worth it. I like to throw in a splash of Goya White cooking wine occasionally. It levels it up even more. Would highly recommend trying this brand. We have tried several. They are all good.
I used to think all jarred sauces were basically the same, but Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce changed my mind. It actually tastes like something that's been simmering on a stove all day rather than coming out of a factory. The texture is perfect. Not watery at all, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients because it isn't loaded with added sugar like most other brands. It's got a really clean, savory tomato flavor with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It's definitely a bit pricier than the budget cans, but for a quick weeknight dinner that feels like a "real" meal, it's 100% worth it. Plus, it's low-carb, which is a nice bonus!
Perfect sauce - that tastes just about homemade. Thick, not too garlicky, for those who are not fans of garlic. Like me. 😀 It's great as a pasta sauce, or a cooking sauce. Baked meatballs in the oven covered in Rao's. They came out - perfect. I always have a jar in the pantry. The sauce is so good, you might decide to skip homemade - for good. Like me. I do wish it didn't cost so much, but the quality is worth the price, even as an occasional treat, if you can afford it. Rao's sauce is that good.
This is a really good marinara sauce that I use for a few different meals. I like the ingredients list and how simple it is without all the additives and fillers. This is good quality. I like the fry up a shallot in olive oil and then add the marinara to warm it up then throw in fresh basil leaves before serving. This stuff is good. It also works for my daughter's food allergies because it doesn't contain dairy.
The taste is unbelievable! I buy for making spaghetti AND when we order breadsticks with our pizzas! Definitely Recommend!.....also try their pasta products! They are great too!
I always use Paul Newman spaghetti sauce in the jar before and it was my go-to sauce and then I tried some of this and I never go back this is some of the best darn sauce it's better than the sauce I make
By far the worst marinara I've ever bought. I'm genuinely surprised about the hype. It tastes like tomato paste (bitter and tin can). I think the only seasoning was salt. Also there was the tiniest hint of maybe a burnt flavor in the background. Almost worth the 7 bucks to to be surprised how bad it is and really question people's taste buts.
