Great product!

MissBuysAlot January 24, 2026

Use this every year and it works! Cannot harm my cats and dogs…A BIG PLUS! Also will kill squirrels and chipmunks they eat up wires, wood, etc. Hope this was helpful to make your decision. I highly recommend it.

Worked great for us in our RV.

Shannon November 10, 2025

I do not usually poison rats or mice. I have a few different sizes of humane traps that I catch the pesky buggers in and then drive them down to the woods and let them go there. But we went out in our motohome and came back with 5 rats. All large ones..urgh. I tried all of my traps and left them out for days with lots of smelly goodies in them. I caught 3 of the 5. But the last 2 saw their mates get trapped and were having none of it. I tried the bucket traps, the humane traps of all different styles and disguised them but nope... these rotten buggers are too smart! They damaged out entrance stairs in out $250K motorhome. Put a whole in one of the walls in the storage underneath and chews a wire. No fires thanfully. That was the last straw. No more courtesies for these monsters. I bought this bait beacuase I didn't want them to suffer. They cannot absorb moisture no matter how much they drink so they eventually lapse into a coma and die. Without pain. Yeah yeah, I know what horrible thirst is. But it's not as bad as server pain. Also because it dehydrates them you don't get anywhere near the horrible smell of death. I will just locate their bodies and remove them. And there is no secondary poinsoning involved so my dogs and cats should they find the bait or the rats will be safe. I know you can't tell from the photos but this rat is about the length of my husbands hand fully stretched. He consumed about 10 or 15 pellets. I put some yummy smelly goodies in the humane trap in a last ditch effort to get him without poisoning him. But he chose the poison not the trap.

Wrong Rodent

Linda July 1, 2025

Late one night, my garage door lock was stuck %26 the wouldn't close, so I finally went inside the house %26 fell asleep. Sometime in the next few days, I went out %26 realized that some critter had invaded us, so I ordered rat poison. Before I could use it, one of your managers came to help me bring in things, and when I described the critter's behavior, he said, " That's a raccoon.!" So I ordered Irish Spring!

Skip the trays, just buy the pellets

Want Rats Gone November 29, 2025

The trays are super thin and cheap. What I really hated though was that the plastic sheet covering the tray is barely attached and so flimsy that as I lifted each tray out of the two boxes I bought, the pellets fell out of the tray before I even unpacked it. The quality control is nonexistent so I'm worried about how it may also indicate a possibility of the pellets not being great either. At this point, I'm a new customer so I don't know yet if they'll work but my first impression is making me skeptical. In any case, if you want to try out Ratx, skip the trays (use your own) and just buy the pellets.

Upon opening the box there were two square containers with some bait. I say some because both containers were open and the peel away plastic tops were only attached by one corner. The bait had spilled out in the box. I would've returned them I'd I didn't need them immediately. It's not working, rats not interested …

Pass on this one.

This is called a Generation 1 chemical because mice and rats have developed an immunity to it and after eating 5 pounds they brought their friends to eat more. They love it and it has no killing effect. Bromethalin is one the products recommnded by the EPA

When I received this from Walmart, both packages were open and spilled everywhere. I had to put on rubber gloves to clean it up. Obviously, someone had bought it and opened it and returned it. I was very disappointed.

Dangerous item delivered damaged!

Anonymous April 11, 2026

Package was damaged, contents were loose in the bag. When I reached in to get the item, I just got a hand full of rat poison. I disposed of the bag and the contents, then scrubbed my hands to get any poison off of me.

Opened containers, bait loose in packaging.

Upon opening the box there were two square containers with some bait. I say some because both containers were open and the peel away plastic tops were only attached by one corner. The bait had spilled out in the box. I would've returned them I'd I didn't need them immediately. Due to the condition they were in I will definitely not buy this brand again.

Don't waste your money!

PamM October 15, 2024

First, The plastic cover on both of the trays was already off each of the trays, so the pellets were spilled all over inside the box! (supposedly they're pre-measured?, So now apparently they're not!) Second, I don't think they work! (unless I didn't get the correct quantities in each of the trays!) Walmart is becoming very sloppy not only with product but also with customer service and especially with their delivery services ! Their ‘shoppers' apparently aren't trained in the basics like how to pick out the best produce, don't grab the box that looks damaged, etc! (this box obviously looked damaged)
