First off this camera came very well packaged. It was packed inside this very thick foam and then put into a secure box for shipment. It is unique as that is has a light up ring round it (the white circle) which is very cool and it has different lighting levels. So my son uses it for gaming and I was able to test it out under his direction and you can easily record yourself flawlessly playing video games and submitting it to you tube. The light definitely gave it more color and definition. It kept up with what we were doing and did not lag in time. The picture was crystal clear. I was very happy with it and look forward to using is for other things. It also gives you a link that you can join the Razor insiders. It fit nicely on top of the computer and had a long enough card to reach the port without any issue.
This webcam has been a great upgrade for video calls and online meetings. The picture is clear and detailed, and the wide field of view captures everything I need without having to constantly adjust the camera. Setup was as simple as plugging it into my computer, and it was ready to use within seconds. The built-in microphone picks up my voice clearly, and I like having the privacy cover for extra peace of mind when the camera isn't in use. Overall, it's a reliable, user-friendly webcam that performs well for work, classes, and video chats.
great little web cam that wirks as advertised. I do a lot if web meetings with different meeting apps and this camea functions flawlessly. easy ti install (plug and play) with extremely clear picture.
Im really impressed with this webcam! The 4K picture is super sharp, and the build-in microphone picks up my voice clearly during video calls.I love the privacy cover, its a small but very useful feature and the picture quality is great.Set up was truly plug and play, it took less than a minutet to get working on my laptop.Great value for the price! This is an amazing deal! Higly recommend!
The Razer Kiyo full HD 1080P streaming camera with the world’s first in-built multi-step ring light is a cool gaming accessory. I’m sure any serious gamer would be interested in having this as part of their equipment. I admit that I had difficulty from the start and the information manual included with the device was not helpful. After browsing the company website, I still had to have my son assist me with set-up. Even HE had to spend some time researching the Internet for further instructions and he is a computer geek. Basically, he found the ring light an appealing feature and the picture was good, but the auto-focus was “crazy.” However, the ring light colours are very nice. The system requirements for the device are a PC with a free USB port, Windows 7 (or higher) Internet connection, and 500 MB of free hard disk space. Additional software and increase in system requirements may be required for certain applications. The camera is compatible with Open Broadcaster and Xsplit. An L-shape joint for mounting to your screen is included, or a tripod can be purchased separately. I was interested if it could be used with Skype and my son said it would work with Skype, but another program is required to set-it-up and run. Overall, he said it is a good camera, although, it is a bit complicated. Maybe with more practice, it will become easier to navigate.
Remember the picture on Facebook of the blond 3 year old little boy trying to explain to his grandma about WI-FI, now we fast forward to my 20 year old grandson trying to explain this Razer-Kiya - Full HD 100th Streaming Camera with World'series First in-Built Ring Light to his 73 year old (non-techie) grandma and how it works. By the time we were done, the only thing I think I knew was that it shows a clearer picture, you can use it for SKYPE, you can use it to spy on people. (don'the even understand that one)! I did then overhear him on the phone talking to his mom (my daughter), asking her how come grandma was so smart about everything else but why didn't she understand this when it was so easy and there was nothing complicated about it. Guess I'm glad I did not hear her answer!
razer has no tech support for this, the light is glitchy and pulses, and as of today, it just wont stay on. you go to use the webcam and it turns on, buzzes, and shuts off. really surprised with how bad razer product is now, used to be my favorite brand
The product was not at all what described it says on the product when you’re buying it that it can be used for streaming on all devices and that is not true. You cannot use it with Apple at all whether it’s an iPhone or an iPad or a computer so I’m stuck with a product that I cannot even use.
This was delivered for my grandson for Christmas. Very disappointed with this packaging!!!! All the money I have spent
Had it for less then a month and it either got too hot or something with the wiring within wasn't working because the camera started making a loud pulsing noise then the ring light started seizing i tried to turn the ring light off but it wouldnt so i was forced to unplug it from mhy streaming device very upset with this product i figured since razer was a notible source for good gaming equipment that it would be very good to use but alas it failed me will be going else where for a new camera after i return this product
