RCA Suburban Mini Yagi Digital Outdoor Antenna with Mast

I replaced my analog TV antenna (which was four times larger) with this small digital antenna hoping to get some local stations that I could not with the analog. I was pleasantly surprised that it did even though it was much smaller than the analog antenna and I got the stations that I wanted. I had read a post on the internet saying it was a hoax to replace an analog with a digital antenna, that it was not needed. For my case it made a significant improvement. I was also very nice to get rid of a big ugly antenna and replace it with a nice small compact one the got better reception. I did put this one in my attic as someone else mentioned they had done, no problems. They old analog was also in the attic, it was nice to get that big old clunky thing out of there and into the recycle bin.

Save your time and money and just buy this antenna. We cut the cord on satelite a few weeks ago, and I wish this was the first antenna I put up. I've tried many others, including other RCA antennas, none can compare to the reception we get with this one.

Works great... i installed it on my direct t.v dish and used the same cable that was already ran to my t.v.i get 31 channel.the only con i have can't get the singal to fox and Local 10,but so far everythng works great.i cancelled my direct tv not paying them no more 200 a month.

I installed this antenna in the attic and receive numerous stations, some from a tower 51 miles away. I paired this antenna with an RCA antenna preamp (http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/14554631) and the signal is strong enough to be split among three TVs. I receive the same stations as my neighbor who has a large roof-mounted antenna. Installation was easy using the mounting bracket provided.

First off, the item came 2 days earlier than stated. Everything was intact. The instructions of how to assemble it were lacking. Basically just look at the pics. But it was not difficult at all. Mounted it to the dish mast, and connected one of the two cables for dish. And all three cable outlets in house were done. Hooked all three TV's to the wall cable outlets, and done. All TV's got (29 - 49) channels. Got all the locals, and more. I pointed it in the same direction of the old dish and it works flawlessly. And the picture is great. Actually better than the cable. Best part is that I don't have to pay that darn cable bill anymore for a bunch of channels of junk. And can still watch Monday, Thur., and Sunday night football. Wanted to do this a year ago, but my wife was skeptical. Wish we would have done it sooner.

was able to receive most of my local channels. initially, hooked it up to the Direct TV mount that I already had - fitted perfectly. But signal was somewhat blocked by neighbor's roof - so extended the arm using a steel pipe from Home Depot. otherwise, no sweat setting everything up. did an auto scan on my tv and all channels showed up.

Before I ordered this outdoor antenna I had been using an indoor antenna. It would only pick up one channel and I had to have my DVD player, gaming systems, and STB turned off so it didn't interfere with the signal. When I received this outdoor antenna it was easy to set up. I was able to unpackage, setup, and install this antenna in about 30 min and now I get about 30 channels! I have had it on my roof for a couple weeks now and have not needed to make any adjustments to it. This is a great product for a reasonable price for anyone interested in an outdoor antenna.

After I got tired of paying a high cable bill for things I did not watch I ordered one for myself and liked it. I live in Carson City, NV but picked up all the local Reno stations; ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS (3 but one is Spanish), the CW (a smaller network but does have some of their own shows) and other retro channels, which are Antenna TV, THIS TV, RTV and METV. We have about 19 channels to watch but 4 are Spanish so its good for those folks also. We always have something to watch at any hour of the day. I like the retro channels because I was born in 1949 and grew up with some of those shows and I do not mind some of them in black & white because that is what I grew up with. After paying about $65 for the antenna in a local Walmart I no longer have a cable bill and get free TV. I recently got one for my mother and she gets the same channels I get and she also likes the old shows on the retro channels and she does not have to pay for TV anymore on her fixed retirement income. I ordered hers online from Walmart and it was even less expensive at about $50. I have done handyman work before and for me they were easy to install.

The first day I got it it was to windy to put up so just laid it on the top of the shed and I got 9 channels all nice and clear. The next day I was going to put it up on the roof where an direct mast was and the ladder wasn't tall enough so I put it up in the garage attic and just laid it on a box and with the 50 ft of coax cable I got 27 stations. But when I rerouted the line and hooked into the line that was coming into the house I lost the signal so had to get an indoor amp and now get 26 channels. Yes some are the same but I also picked up channels from Tulsa, Ok which is 80 miles from me plus I get all the local channels

RCA antenna worked fine for me but I am near the city - still had issues during bad weather but I am only about 15' in the air. Seems fairly sturdy and it is easy to install. Did not bring in any more stations than the rabbit ears I was using though.
