The Red Devil Vinyl Spackling Compound Wall Filler 32 oz. Is exactly what you need for those small projects around the house from cracks and crevices to holes in dry wall. This product is just what you need. Easy to use, apply, sand and cover any repair needed. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of small patch jobs or repairs. For larger patch jobs and repairs I'd recommend a larger size container of this product.
This was easy to work with and dried fast. We have a fixer upper so we used this up. It filled in the small holes and even medium holes. It went on easy and is pretty basic to work with. You slap some on and use a putty knife to smear it back off or into the hole. Great product I'm happy with it.
We have a pretty large crack in our media room from settling (thank you Texas clay), and I needed a heavy duty spackling to fill the crack. This is exactly what I needed. I loved that it didn’t flake away or cause a giant mess. Easy to manipulate but firm enough that it didn’t fall apart. I have attached a picture of the patch before paint.
Glad I got this Red Devil Vinyl Spackling because we just had a mishap in our rental home where the chair next to the wall in the living room needs to be spackled before the landlord visits. This spackle goes on very smooth but is thick enough to cover the entire area. I’m happy that it comes in a reusable container because there are actually a lot of cracks that I didn’t really notice until after the mishap with the chair and we’ll be using the spackle to fill those in as well since winter’s finally on its way and it’s best to have these things completed before the cold times. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has any kind of spackling job around the house, garage or other building.
I've used this in the past extensively for repairing holes in my drywall at my house. Recently drilled three holes in my ceiling trying to install a TV cable, but couldn't get it installed so was left with three holes in my ceiling. Got the Red Devil Spackling, took a putty knife, pressed it into the holes, smoothed it out, let it dry, then touched it up with some old ceiling paint. Holes are gone, ceiling looks great. Got some on my ceiling trim, it is easily cleaned up with water and, when dry, can easily be sanded and painted. If you are painting your walls and/or ceilings, I would highly recommend making this your first purchase to get the surface in perfect shape before applying paint.
Red Devil Pre-Mixed Vinyl Spackling is great for patching holes and nail heads quickly and easily. This was so easy to use even though I had no idea how to spackle, it was easy and very little sanding needed. Product goes on smooth. It is easy to sand and the finished repair was practically undetectable. It dries fast and holds tight providing a permanent repair. Can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces. Cleans up with water and paintable.
I just got Red Devil Vinyl Spackling Compound for both the interior and exterior walls of my home. It came in a container that weighed about 32 ounces and was very easy to use. Our home is about 45 years old, and the walls are beginning to have major holes and cracks in them. So, I got this spackling compound to try it to fix the walls rather than replace them because that would be so expensive. It worked wonders, you can barely see the repair unless you were looking for it. It dried really quickly and the clean up was easy with just warm water. I did a little light sanding and it stayed in place. Then I painted the wall to try to see if it works and yes it did! I love it! I highly recommend it and the price is great! Can’t wait to see what else I can fix around here!!!
I got this compound because I am scraping the popcorn ceilings in my home and repainting them and this is a great product to use where the nails in the drywall were not filled in as good as they should have been. This drys faster than drywall compound and is sand-able. I think that I will be getting more of this in the future to use for this purpose. Also great for nail holes in walls. I would recommend this product if you are doing any diy projects around your home.
I used this sparkling for crafts and I love how it worked out for me. It has a very nice smooth consistency. It dries fairly quickly depending on how thick you apply it. It also took paint color pretty well too. I added acrylic paint to tint the sparkling for better coverage. It is a nice product.
My teenagers have a bad habit of redecorating their rooms and with Sheetrock being in the room you know it’s thumb tack, nails and etc holes around. This was easy to use. The holes filled in really well. I was smoothing it out without any problems. I like how it’s water-based sparkling so it helped with clean up a lot. Once I finished filling in all the holes and smoothed them with a bit of sand paper, the I could hand over the paint to the kids to redo their rooms. It dried super fast too so no waiting for hours for the spackling to dry or even until the next day. I could do fill holes and paint same day so that was a huge plus. Once painted you could tell how well it held in the holes and the tight fit. I couldn’t tell where most of the holes were, now some I could granted because we knew where things hand been hanging before.
