This is a great knee brace, very well made out of tough long lasting material. A right fit exactly what I was looking for offering good protection for my knee
comfortable to wear. very good support. easy to put on.
The Speedwick Knee Support by Reebok is a first class knee support. It has some gathers in the back for easy bending of my knee. It is well constructed and will last. My favorite part is that it is extra long so it won't bunch up at the knee. I use it when I work out and it prevents my knee from hurting.
I got this knee support for my daughter. She has what she calls a “trick knee.” She does heavy weight lifting and occasionally her knee gives out. Just received this and she's only used it once, but she's very pleased with how it fits and supports her knee.
This is a great knee brace for my husband. He has a bad knee and can't walk very long without something on it. This brace worked wonders. He can walk quite a bit farther and lot longer now. The brace is very well made and is easy to put on up to his knee. Then it braces his knee very well. I highly recommend this item if you have a knee that is a little shaken. We have tried others, but this one seems to be the best.
Out of the box, it looks exactly like the picture. It is made of quality very stretchy fabric, tight but not so much that you can't pull it on.. It feels supportive when the leg is extended a little tighter when the leg is contracted, indicating, it is doing it's job. Well done Reebok.
I am over 60 and have damaged knees. I have tried several knee support in the last few years. I work out several times weekly on a rowing device and an elliptical. Other knee supports will slip down the leg while using the equipment. The Reebok knee support stayed in place on the knee during the entire hour long workout (1400 reps on the rowing) as well as standing on the elliptical. Quality is top grade. fits my 6'2" 265 lb. large legs perfectly. Easy to put on and remove and no discomfort.
When I got this knee support, my knee was bothering me. It came at the perfect time. I have had prior meniscus surgery and it started bothering me after falling, skiing, recently. I had a hard time exercising and afterward the back of my knee would ache. It fit me quite nicely and I am not a large person so I can't imagine this L/XL size fitting larger people. I literally had no pain while exercising and there was no back of the knee pain after I took it off later that night. It felt comfortable and was heavy enough to give support but thin enough not to impede my motion. In fact, I've worn it under my jeans and it was hardly noticeable! I left it on all day and it did not make my knee feel sore or restricted. It stayed right where I had placed it without any slipping and seemed to have good air circulation keeping my leg dry. Aside from the size, I am very pleased with this support and will be using often.
it was a bit tight therefore uncomfortable and slipped off of my knee while in mode of activities
So, I have the Large/Extra Large Speedwick Knee Support. I put it on my knee and it slid right down to my ankle as I walked a few feet. I think it is too big for me. The size guide info on the box of the knee support says the small is for knees measuring between 11 and 14.6 inches, while the leg is held at a 45 degree angle, measuring around the largest part of the knee. That number is 14 and three quarters for me. So, I would be right on the cusp as far as the size guide goes. But, I absolutely need a small. Besides that, I did pull it on up to my thigh to see if it was going to be itchy or uncomfortable on my skin, like some elbow supports I've used in the past. It was not completely uncomfortable. But, it was not so comfortable that I forgot it was on. After a short while, I could feel the tiny grooves in the fabric biting into my skin. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great either. I could probably deal with it for half an hour. I don't really care about color, but this does not really blend. My skin is brown and the knee support is largely gray, with a red band at the top. It seems to be well made, not cheap or flimsy and it has those little silicone dots inside the top band to help keep it in place. I cannot speak to its moisture-wicking technology.
