Nice addition to boat trailer
they work. push button to pull out, crank a little bit to tighten, push button to release slack, then retracts all. a heck of a good thing. I'm going to spray down inside (spring) and outside with CorrosionX in hopes will last.

So far, so good
At this price, these seem like a deal! Just installed them (had to purchase an adaptor from boatbuckle to fit my ez load trailer) and drove about 3 miles to home. The buckles loosened up quite a bit on the short trip, so they should be checked often, which is the reason for the 4 star! Other than that, its great not having to battle a ratchet strap!!!

Poor quality and support
Bought a pair of these on Walmart.com I've used them on my boat trailer only a few times and they don't retract very well when you release them to off load your boat. I'm getting the feeling they are priced at $26 for a reason. I called Reese customer support and was put on hold. I finally gave up. More junk for the land fill I guess.
