ReliOn Premier COMPACT Complete Blood Glucose Monitoring Kit

This item is great I was with the Libre 3 plus and I needed help with keeping up with my sugars and it is so easy. I was able to read my sugars through the memory. I would definitely recommend this product. That's because I don't know how to work many electronics.

I've used these ReliOn glucose meters before and was always pleased with their ease of use, accuracy and the price compared to the name brand meters. This new generation of meters takes it to a whole new level in regards to ease of use and cost effectiveness.

I was excited to try ReliOn Premier Compact Blood Glucose Monitor System as I was ready to switch to a new one soon. Immediately upon opening the package I loved the slim design of the monitor.. easy to take with me even in my smallest purse or carry bag. It came with 50 testing strips a small bag of lancets, lancing device, cap, log book and instructions. battery was already installed so it was ready to use right out of package . The lancing device was easy to use and load..spring worked well and I barely felt the lancet. The strip only needed a small drop of blood to test and the large numbers were easy to read and cans tore 10 results at one time. I highly recommend this product and received it in exchange for my honest opinion.

I think that this Relion Blood Glucose Monitoring system is the best I have ever used. It is lightweight so you can carry it everywhere. It has a fancy design to it. The results were faster than other monitors and with less or no pain. And the results were accurate. I love this system.

Not accurate at all !!! I have my sensor libre 3 and is not accurate I would've I've one star but is really compact that is only why I give two stars more

I ordered a new meter kit to replace my older ReliOn, which was very good but discontinued. The meter appears to be good but the pen and lancets are very poor. The sample lancets that came with the kit were defective in that the needle came out with the removal of the twist off protective head. I could not get any to stay, so reverted back to my old pen for now. Not sure if I will purchase any of these lancets in the future. Poor quality is not what I expect from these products, it makes you question the entire line.

I thought I'd try this because the strips are so cheap and I don't care about the memory and don't use apps for health data. The sample size required for this meter seems extra small, which is great. I didn't try the lancet device because I like the one I was already using. Like others have mentioned, control solution isn't included and isn't even available on the Walmart site. I inquired at the ReliOn site and they said they would send some for free, but I haven't received it. So without the control solution, I can't know if the strips are bad, but so far this meter seems inaccurate compared to my Contour Next One. It consistently reads much higher than the Contour - I guess I can't know for sure whether the high or low number is correct, but the lower numbers are more consistent with my a1c. I also think it's the ReliOn that is less accurate because if I take multiple readings - literally using the very same drop of blood from a single poke - the results will vary by as much as 30%. If I do this on the Contour, the results are within five points of each other every time. I'll wait and see if the control solution comes to check on that, but will probably end up throwing this in the garbage and sticking with the pricier strips for the Contour

Was billed, told it was delivered, but photo shows it was not with other item that was. Told by AI that item can't be refunded. No explanation, no one to talk to about this. Was just robbed.

1) I had to buy the calibrating fluid $13 before I could use it which Walmart doesn't sell in their store pharmacy. 2) Each time I used I put in a clean new strip to calibrate it but the error message E01 means used test strip, had to use an average of 4 test strips to test my blood each morning. 3) It would give fantastically low or high reads, do it a second time sometimes seemed to work. 4) It is a non refundable item. Took a loss on it and purchased a different tester. If I could give this a zero rating I would have done so.

I've owned this two weeks and replaced the batteries twice already, in addition I've gone through 50 test strips to get only 13 readings, the rest were errors. I'm not new to this so I doubt it was all user error. In addition, my readings seem to be unusually high with this meter, I'm going to need to calibrate the results against a blood test at my doctor's office because I'm feeling like its not very accurate based on my recent lab work.
