ReliOn Platinum Blood Glucose Test Strips, 50 Count

Relion for the most part, offers good quality at a substantial savings. These are no different. Interesting to note though, when an acquaintance was using their Accucheck glucometer and test strips, they exclaimed that my glucometer was the same as their Accucheck glucometer. I followed up with, but its a Relion by Walmart. We compared them and sure enough, side by side: nearly every detail matched except the brand name. But of course, Walmart offers excellent products like this made by reputable manufacturers for a bit less. FYI: I had Platinum test strips that were 2 months past the expiration date, and compared the readings to brand new Platinum test strips, the results held fast and accurate! When I told a Walmart pharmacist this discovery that the Relion Platinum was an Accucheck, they profoundly disagreed: "NO IT'S NOT" LOL, whatever...

Had another meter, $40 for 100 strips. Switched to Relion Platinum, got the same features from my old meter and cost half the price for the same amount of strips. No quality issues or bad things to say about these strips, works just like the more expensive ones for a fraction of the price.

Works great with our glucose tester of the same brand. They come in two 50 count, sturdy, little film like canisters (that we recycle when empty for crafts like little beads). They fit great with the glucose kit bag. I do wish it was a little cheaper though.

great price compared to the competition they keep them locked up at the store . Associate in beauty dept is supposed to respond. They dont respond even when the call button is repeatedly pushed multiple times over half an hour. I've left quite a few times. Kind of stupid when the Pharmacy is 10 feet away and can see me when its open. I end up ordering online for delivery costing me more. That irritates me. Im a senior with neuropathy has difficulty walking to the beauty area to get an available person. Walk back show which product from locked case and walk back to beauty to pay for/ Or standing waiting for no one to show after 25 minutes.

I bought this item for a friend who has trouble driving and getting packages delivered at her apartment complex To me the cost is high, I assume medical stuff is marked up even if fair traded At suggested retail prices? She loves the monitor to double check her other implant monitor Delivered fast within less than a hour

We started out with the cheaper version of Relion and it was fine and accurate however they were no longer allowing the test strips to be shipped on subscription so I switched us to the platinum version. I love how it looks and it seems so much easier to use. Automatic shut off and soundless when you check your blood.

Every time I take my blood sugar it works pretty well except every now and then the strip doesn't read and I have to throw it out and use another strip and that's happened more than once so sometimes you know they're expensive so you lose a little bit of money there.

Ordered it for pickup. Got my order this morning around 10 am (5/16/25). It's now 8:06 pm, getting ready to check my BSL before bed and NO TEST STRIPS. My fault for not paying better attention when I was unpacking my order, but shame on Walmart for not allowing a refund - they just get to keep your money while you have no product. Shame on the Walmart shopper for not making sure it was in the bins. Everyone involved with my purchase….what if I were an elderly person and couldn't get out to get a medical necessity as needed?? Step your game up!!

THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR WHAT I ORDERED. I NOW HAVE TWO BOXES OF THESE WHICH WALMART WILL NOT TAKE BACK BECAUSE IT IS A DIABETIC SUPPLY. YOU CAN ONLY RETURN IT IF MEDICARE PAID FOR IT. MY FIRST BOX WAS FROM THE PHARMACY COUNTER. THE SECOND ONE WAS FROM GROCERY DELIVERY. THEN I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR THE RIGHT BOX. NOT HAPPY.

You can't substitute one type of test strips for another—they don't work in the same glucometer. They don't let you exchange test strips. So now I can either a) buy a new machine or b) eat the cost of the strips. I also got charged for two boxes and only got one.
