Relion for the most part, offers good quality at a substantial savings. These are no different. Interesting to note though, when an acquaintance was using their Accucheck glucometer and test strips, they exclaimed that my glucometer was the same as their Accucheck glucometer. I followed up with, but its a Relion by Walmart. We compared them and sure enough, side by side: nearly every detail matched except the brand name. But of course, Walmart offers excellent products like this made by reputable manufacturers for a bit less. FYI: I had Platinum test strips that were 2 months past the expiration date, and compared the readings to brand new Platinum test strips, the results held fast and accurate! When I told a Walmart pharmacist this discovery that the Relion Platinum was an Accucheck, they profoundly disagreed: "NO IT'S NOT" LOL, whatever...

I purchased this in order to get extra strips that were not so costly. It was recommended on a site that I frequently browse for diabetes. I love how it lights up from start to finish %26 you can see your average for 1 week, 1 month, %26 even 3 months. After 21 readings (I think) it will also show an estimated A1c %23. I took it to my 5 month check up to compare it withmy doctors office readings. The glucose level was within 2-4 points, which normally would probably be a little more than that. The meter showed A1c to be 6.0 %26 my doctors office blood test for A1c was 6.4. So all in all pretty consistent %26 I love the ease of using this. Not to mention mine came with 50 test strips %26 a box of 100 is only about $20.

There are many products on the market to check your blood glucose. I have tried many of them as I have been a type 2 diabetic for 30 years. I discovered this machine and the strips a few years ago. I love the app and the Bluetooth capabilities. It keeps an excellent record of my levels, and the price is such a value. I recommend this product 100%.

This is a Bluetooth enabled monitor. It is very user friendly even if you've never used any type of technology. When a strip is loaded, apply a very small blood sample like any other device. It reads like all monitors I've used, this one has a large illuminated display. When it shows you the result, it instantly loads to the app on your phone. You then are able to track in a graph style not only your blood sugars but you can manually type in your meals, snacks, insulin, medications, activity level, as well as whatever's going on through the day affecting your blood sugar. Also you can edit your entries %26 add to, or correct information. It also has a feature to share your blood sugars with your Dr. The strips are very affordable If you're paying cash %26 don't have insurance, compared to many other brands/monitor types. I've had several of the monitors in the $20 to $30 price range. This one by far, is the best glucose monitor.

Every time I take my blood sugar it works pretty well except every now and then the strip doesn't read and I have to throw it out and use another strip and that's happened more than once so sometimes you know they're expensive so you lose a little bit of money there.

THEY ARE WAY TO SMALL Need to be 2x the size for MEN They need to make a Mens Testing Strips They say DO NOT TOUCH THE ENDS OF THE STRIPS could damage them but they so small you gotta use tweezers to get them out of the tube they come in and insert into your testing machine, there is just NO REASON to make them that small they are sized for children under 13yrs old not adult fingers, they work great and are cheap but WAY TO SMALL FOR MEN...

I ordered Relion Premier glucose test strips. I was sent Relion Platinum. I refused to accept these because they will not work in my machine. I would love to get what I ordered. I would have to get a different machine for the Platinum to work for me. Can't afford a new machine.

Ordered it for pickup. Got my order this morning around 10 am (5/16/25). It's now 8:06 pm, getting ready to check my BSL before bed and NO TEST STRIPS. My fault for not paying better attention when I was unpacking my order, but shame on Walmart for not allowing a refund - they just get to keep your money while you have no product. Shame on the Walmart shopper for not making sure it was in the bins. Everyone involved with my purchase….what if I were an elderly person and couldn't get out to get a medical necessity as needed?? Step your game up!!

The original machine worked fine while the strips that came with the device lasted. However, the new tips started to give abnormally high blood sugar l levels. We had to buy a completely new device from different company since this is not reliable. Worst part is we couldn't even return this piece of crap.
