ReliOn Premier BLU blood glucose monitoring system

I really liked the meter price (under $20), and especially the sample sticks (50 count at $$9). Easy to use and has a nice feature that can tell you at a glance whether your blood sugar levels are too low, normal, or too high by the color of the LCD screen when the meter finishes the scan. You don't need an APP for this meter, but you can get one free by visiting their website if yo want additional features (I didn't). I would buy this again.

I like the Relion brand for diabetes monitoring because of its ease of use, portability, cost and compatibility. Most notably.....Accurate reading. 99.99 percent spot on Accuracy with Dr. Office readings (for my family). May not be for your needs. Check with your medical team for referral. Notable Fact: MOST INSURANCE Companies will not reimburse for purchases.

I am a committed fan of most Relion products this no exception . Easy to use . Set up . Cannot argue with price.

This rating shouldn't matter to experienced users, I'm a newbie, and it confused me, plus, I thought I'd get the finger sticker and the test strips…. They don't come with model. Be a better shopper than that, read, read everything.

the only problem my husband has using it, it goes to error a lot. so he has to do a second strip to try again. other than wasting strips, I guess it's fine

it comes with its own case, but as for operation I would suggest finding a different one as this one you have to hold upright on the blood for it to read the blood ,so as for friendliness I have to say no.

I liked the idea of Bluetooth to sync my readings to my phone and have a readily available history for review by myself or my doctor. The problem is that it doesn't sync with any reliability and trying to get it to sync becomes very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this one.

If, like me, you're considering this device because it has Bluetooth connectivity, know that you cannot track your numbers anonymously. You MUST create an online account. This was a huge disappointment and I would not have bought it had I known.

Not really a complete kit For around $20, this is very disappointing. You get the ReliOn Premier BLU meter, battery, manual, and a flimsy pouch — no test strips and no lancing device. I had to spend about another $15 on those separately, bringing the real cost closer to $35. The pouch is poorly designed and doesn't even have a proper holder for the lancing device. Worse, the manual directs you to an app for the Bluetooth feature, but the link is broken and the app has been discontinued. You have to hunt down a third-party app yourself, and finding one that also syncs with other health apps can be difficult. The meter may work fine for basic testing, but for a Bluetooth “kit,” this is incomplete and poorly supported.

This meter is so unreliable. I bought this meter after the one touch meter i have test strips are expensive. When I git this meter in the mail, i tried it out and it was over 50 points higher than the one touch meter. I've used both over 6 times now and every time the Relion is 50 plus points higher. I do not recommend this meter at all. Very disappointed. Just a point proven that you get what you pay for...you pay nothing, you get nothing.
