Was on a budget so I went with this 30a charge controller, may upgrade later down the road for the solar size I'm running. Feels a little cheap on quality but very simple to use and is working just as intended. Definitely worth the price nice simple unit.
It's the most lovely shade of black I've ever seen .....and the little green lights really make it pop.
I have purchased three of these units for three small battery banks. They seem to work very well for what I need them for. I run computers, fans, TV, Roku, toaster, WiFi and they all charge my batteries via solar well! I've had some other brand charge controllers fail on me, and actually melt, almost causing a fire twice! I highly recommend this Wanderer controller to anyone looking for a well designed unit at a decent price!
Still learning. It seems to be a good controller for small systems. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Be very cautious how tight you torque the screws. I'm using it with two same brand panels into two batteries. I'll know a lot more when I get the monitor. I'd like to verify charging Then I can compare the ratings for my size of panel So far I can tell you that it wakes up when Sun hits the panel. The onboard lights tell me that. I do like that the lithium choice indicator is blue. It's really easy to get it right. It blinks when it's active, doesn't blink when it's dark. This unit is unfused, so familiarize yourself and act accordingly, depending on what you install it with. So far, at the price point, I am very happy.

I can't really even say that it works. There were no cables to attach it to the solar panels or battery. I went back to the listing and the cables were not listed as “optional “.
parts was missing from this order. i will be sending this back. very disappointed, waiting this long for my stuff to arrive, and have stuff missing.
