Brightened my whites like it claimed it would, so long as I followed directions; iow don't put more articles of clothing in than recommendation says to put in.

I have white Redland Cotton towels, washcloths, and hand towels. This keeps them bright white.

Best thing I have found to keep my whites white and bright!

This is an absolutely amazing product that will take any old, stained, or just playing dirty whites and make them look new.

We have well water at our house, so white clothing doesn't stay that way for long. I use Rit for delicate, non-bleachable whites (bras, camis, etc.). It works eventually, but may require multiple treatments. I just treated a lacy, white cami. After one treatment, the lace is cream-colored instead of yellow, so that's progress. I'm hoping that one more box will do the trick. Fortunately, this product is relatively cheap at the local Walmart. I think I paid under $2.00 for a box last time. Even with two treatments, it's still cheaper than having to replace a bra or shirt.

Had a couple of older, but still very good white towels, and wished to brighten them up. They showed some signs of color thru years of washing with other bright clothes and this made them all white once again. I tried it again with a couple of pairs of white tights that got color bleed on them and was disappointed that the tights retained the slight color. I sure would have given 5 stars if it had worked, but I'm pretty happy with Rit White Wash.

First of all the instructions are written so tiny I couldn't really see them with my reading glasses on. So I threw the contents of package in the washer with a very small load of whites and laundry detergent. Clothes came out looking exactly like they did when they went in.
