I can't complain about the item for the price I paid. I bought it for my husband for his birthday and they are pretty good quality so far.

Utensils are nice and long as not to get too close to the heat of the grill. The tongs are terrible they are always open and you need to lock them by pulling the ring where they connect together. Better design would be a continuous piece of metal that you just squeeze together to grip food with and then it would return to an open position a few inches apart.

The items are thin and flimsy. The fork fingers bend, the tongs are aluminum not steel, and it all feels super cheap. There's nothing "heavy duty" about them. Go up to the $25 range and get a sturdier set.

There are many similar bbq tool sets to choose from. Why did I choose this particular ROMANTICIST set? Because each of the four tools were cited to be noticeably longer than those found in other sets. These tools are NOT as long as advertised. All you have to do is measure them, which I did. The box itself is less than 17 inches long; so how could the tools be 18 to 19 inches long? In two different and prominent places on the item page, [one a photo with a smiling man and bold tool length numbers underneath, one the product description further down the page], the tool sizes are listed as 18, 19, 18 and 18 inches in length. Here's the advertised vs. actual lengths [the tools have swinging hang loops and are NOT included in my measurements, as they do not provide any length when holding the tool. To include them as tool length when swung open is deceptive because it adds no functional length]: Versatile spatula (18 inches) [actually 16 1/2 inches] Extra-long grill tongs (19 inches) [actually 15 inches] Superior fork (18 inches) [actually 16 1/4 inches] Grill basting brush (18 inches) [actually 16 1/4 inches] This is deception. Make it right for me and other customers!

It was delivered to incorrect address so my order was cancelled and not reordered. It was a gift so :(
