I love the look. I have 3 around my garden and chicken coop. They link well together with the additional coupling kit.

Like the rustic look, and the debris trap at top. We moved the socket to the middle hole and added a short hose to the bottom. Wished it was round and a little taller for the price.

Awesome barrel for catching rain, as we have one bad area without gutter coverage. The material seems sturdy. It looks authentic from a distance. The stand to use spout has not arrived yet.

Finally! A nice looking rain barrel! It arrived ahead of schedule, was easy to set up and works great. From a short distance, it looks Like a real wooden barrel. Used a little plumber's tape around the faucet to prevent any leaking.

We thought the resin rain barrel would be a fancy and stealthy way to store our garden hose. We cut the top off and mounted it back on a hinge. We drilled a few holes in the bottom of the barrel to allow any hose leakage to drain out, also rainwater will infiltrate through the screen but we don't store weather sensitive items in it. The interior has plenty of room for our 75 foot collapsing hose as well as a small amount of gardening tools. The fact that it doesn't rot or need painting is great, don't know how well the color holds up against the sun as it is new. The color is slightly different from the hayneedle photo but not drastic. It's pretty well constructed and the spicket on this one is robust. Space is limited in our yard so the flat back really helps keep its footprint down to a minimum. I'm sure it would function fine as a rain catchment system for watering but be aware if that's what you're using it for, it will work best on a platform as gravity is what makes it flow. RTS also recommends no more than 3 feet of hose for it to flow properly. All in all I would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

I love the look of this rain barrel; it compliments the natural surroundings outside. Easy set up and decent size water capacity. I haven't had it long enough to go through a rain cycle, but I fear that the overflow port will not accomodate a heavy rainfall, which means water will run out the top and around the barrel. I have two other barrels by a different manufacturer that have large 3 1/2"" overflow ports. I plan on converting this one using a fitting to make a larger port for this problem. The barrel was more economical than my others and much more attractive, so I don't mind the extra effort to customize the problem. Will most likely purchase another. Purchased 2 flat back rain collection barrels. Received quick, took less than an hour to set them up. They're on purchased stands. We are strapping them to the wall in case of wind while empty or low. Haven't had any rain to catch yet. They're light weight, easy to handle. Spigot install quick and easy also.

The video showing this rain barrel showed that the lid opened. However, it does not.

Overall, this is a good rain barrel. It does the job for which we bought it, and I like the flat backside for ease of lying against the side of the house. HOWEVER, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOZZLE! In the picture it appears to be a sturdy design that screws on/off from the top. What you get is a different design in which the water on/off lever is shifted to the front, which is fine. But it's flimsy. We bought ours four months ago and it already the lever broke off. If you really want this one (for the design) I may suggest replacing the nozzle with one that is more reliable.

Was sent the wrong color. The barrel itself was dull in color and the spigot hole was not properly placed. Looked like the hole was to big and the spigot was put on towards the side of the hole and then filled with lots of putty.
