Good Ideas Rain Wizard Diverter Flex Kit for Standard Size Downspouts

Works surprisingly well. Easy attachment, looks better than my usual hatchet job of butchering in various turn pieces of gutter. A little worried about winter time swap out with winter plug, seems like it'll add wear, tear and stress to the part in the gutter but can't complain yet.

This kit totally worked as advertised and was priced reasonably.

It is hooked up, but it hasn't rained yet.

This works great on the rain barrel that I also purchased from Hayneedle. Although, I did have someone come in and put it in for me. The rain goes straight to the barrel from the water spout and fills up fast.

This is the third gutter attachment we have purchased. This one works and is easy to install. Great!

This diverter catches and sends the water from the downspout to the rain barrel, and when the barrel is full the excess water goes back into the diverter and drains so the barrel doesn't over flow. It was easy to install. The only cons would be that the hole saw included was a little hard to cut the hole with in the downspout, and the hose will be hard to attach unless you use some soap and water on it as the manufacturer states to do. It's a good product, that works well. I don't think the plastic fill hose will take much cold or freezing weather, so mine will be disconnected and brought inside during the cold months. (I drain my barrel anyway, and bring it in, so disconnecting the hose will be no extra added problem. All in all, it's a great product. I
