I bought six. One for every downspout. Im having professionals adjust my pipes and used concrete wall blocks ( ) for stands. Already amazing rain collection from small rain events here in the arid southwest.

The rain barrel came with helpful instructions to make the assembly easy. The day after I set the barrel in place, we had a heavy storm, which filled the barrel and made it possible to have the extra water I want fory new garden. it makes me happy seeing it every day knowing that I've got a water surplus on hand.

This item arrived sooner than expected and in fine condition. The Rain Barrel is roto-molded out of thick plastic similar to kayaks and other heavy duty sports equipment. I can't imagine anyone getting one that's been damaged in shipping, it could be dropped shipped from a helicopter to your address and probably be fine. The faucet is actually a heavy brass unit. The screen is removable and is actually a small window screen - so it's easily replaceable should the need arise. Comes with a bung for ganging barrels together for more capacity. Haven't installed it yet - but it's a big heavy plastic barrel, it's simply going to do the job it was designed to do. All the best, Don

I must confess that I was a little skeptical to buy this product because of some mixed reviews that I read online, but the price was really good, so I decided to give this a try. The barrel looked beautiful, but of course I wanted to test this with some rain. After some mild rains the barrel seemed to work fine. With some mild rains the barrel was half full, the only negative side that I noticed was that the faucet stream was relatively weak. I spend a lot of time to fill the watering can, maybe a deal breaker for some, but that was acceptable. The real test was to use the product under some heavy rain. Once we had some heavy rain I saw the true value of this item. Even when the barrel was full, it didn't tilt and also the barrel itself has an overflow system at the top that allows an escape in case the barrel is full. I connected a 10 ft faucet to the hose though and that allowed the water to flow freely. I also bought the stand for the barrel, but I think (am sure) that you can create your own stand with rocks or wood if necessary. This is definitely a wonderful item. The only things that I may improve are the top filter, which seems a bit weak/cheap and the faucet stream. Other than than nothing else. Also, as a side note, the item arrived earlier than anticipated.

Great rain barrel! Works perfectly. You most likely will need a base for it as the spigot is real close to the bottom of the barrel. This is not a flaw just a reminder to build or buy a base. We used two milk crates and they had no problem holding the weight of a full barrel.

I like the barrel. In a recent rain it filled up quickly. Only issue. The screen on top does not completely seal as the top of the barrel sinks down at the back of the screen leaving an opening. This alows bugs and tree droppings to enter. Is this a flaw/defect or is this common with this barrel.

Sturdy, cannot wait until it will RAIN! Even I can fasten it to the gutter and stand it upright. So practical and useful these days. Delivery was awesome.

Barrel did not maintain shape. The top is not level and sags. Barrel sucked in. I gave it 2 stars only because it has helped catch rain for watering plants which was why I purchased.

cheaply made, the top of the barrel bubbled within days and the spout leaks. disappointed in this product, not sure how to get a refund or replacement

The barrel arrived today - it is the wrong color, and it had a plastic spigot, not brass as advertised. The top is warped - really poor quality I do not recommend.
