This is a great compost tumbler. Assembly was not overly difficult but did require two people just to get the panels aligned properly. The center divider was the most difficult but not too bad. There are like 80 screws to put this together. The screws were all mixed up in one bag also so make sure you separate and identify the different screws before starting to put together. The instructions included were a single sheet. Enough information to figure it out but if you are not mechanically inclined it may be a point of frustration. The stand seems sturdy and supports the weight of a full bin. The grooves on the bin also serve as handles to rotate it and it spins easily. The lids close securely and one of them has a sign so you can identify which side you are currently adding too. The lids can also be removed easily and switched to the other side. Make sure you place then in its permanent home once built...holding 43 gallons of compost it is heavy. Overall I think this was a good value and would recommend this compost tumbler.

A good, basic compost barrel. Easy to rotate. It has two inside sections, so one for recent material, and one for material that's older. Can dump into garden wagon easily.

Our old compost barrel finally gave out after many years. Bought the new one and love it! Took a little time for assembly, but turned out great. Got black, since we have cool and sometimes sunless days. Very happy so far.

It took two of us to figure out how to put it together, and studying the drawings closely helped. It's do-able. For 43 gallons it is low profile and compact and plenty sturdy enough. There are 2 equal compartments, separated vertically down the middle with 2 sliding doors - spinning the compost material is straight forward. I purchased a compost starter to sprinkle on top of my kitchen scraps and yard cuttings. It leaks a tiny, tiny bit. Not bad and it doesn't stink. I had giant- very expensive compost tumblers for a large and untamed property in the country that really spoiled me, and I am happy to say, the Walmart Compost Tumbler is a fantastic value for my present needs. My city now mandates kitchen produce, refrigerator spoils, and cutting board scraps to be recycled. I am happy to do my part, but not to sully and stink up my giant green waste can . Plus, the added benefit is that the compost is as organic as you are!

This is a great item if you are looking for a large composter for a low price. It took about an hour to assemble because there are 7 bolts per panel. There were 4 sets of bolts/nuts that were extra in case you lost any. It is really solid. The bins are a lot bigger than I thought they would be. I had about 4 apple bags of produce in the freezer waiting to go into it and that barely covered the bottom. The doors are a little small so any lawn scraps need to be put in by the handful so it might be a little slow to fill. Each door is about the size of 1 1/2 DVD cases. There isn't a handle to crank it but there's a lot of texture on the barrel to get a grip to turn it.

Took a little while to assemble, but in the end it came together nicely and seems to work well. It wasn't difficult to put together, just a bit time-consuming. I like the look of it and it tumbles easily, seems pretty stable on its base. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Now hopefully it will make some great compost for me.

bin is well made and sturdy, working great spinning compost faster than shoveling. I got a smaller one, but wish I started bigger. The only problem I had was assembly as it must of had 100 bolts and 100 nuts to piece together, and inside divider didn't seem to fit well, but is working ok

A package with package pieces required to assemble. Not hard to put together, thin plastic but not very sturdy. So just meh! It's doable for now. Meh!

This was ridiculous to assemble. We are talking about an experienced tradesman who knows his way around tools! Directions inadequate, and was really hard to assemble. Needed an additional person to assist. I didn't look well enough to see that this was not made in USA! Won't make that mistake again! DO NOT RECOMMEND

I never received this. It was cancelled and refunded with no reason given to me. It is a shame because I have one like it and I was ordering a second one. I had recommended it to The Nebraska Recycling Council and they were going to add this to their list of options for their free giveaways.
