Perfect for food storage. Room temp, fridge, cooler transport, freezer. I don't microwave these cause they're plastic. They wash up well, and remain stain free- even tomato sauce cleans out completely= cause it's not microwaved! They're inexpensive enough that if I give a few away with leftovers, it's not a problem.

Growing up in a house where Tupperware was everywhere - I chose to start buying the Rubbermade TakeAlongs instead of the much more Tupperware, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have two cabinets full of Rubbermaid Food Storage Containers, because I cook quite a lot of food/meals for my family of 7. Our refrigerators have many containers of Rubbermaid in them. Even though washing them in the automatic diswasher might discolor some of the containers' plastic, I still use the dishwasher to clean most of them, as well as hand washing some of them. Food stays fresh, and there are no food odors in the fridge from the food. I also microwave the containers of food with no issues.

These containers I like to have on hand in different sizes. They are great for leftovers, freeze well, and microwaveable. They are also dishwasher safe. I have kept these on hand because the price is good enough to give away and not care about getting the container back.

These things are absolutely perfect for storing food in. It keeps everything fresh in air tight containers. They are so sturdy you can stack them but at the same time extremely light in weight. I have used for the fridge and for the freezer. It's perfect for leftovers. Very happy with it.

Purchased for holiday leftovers which were then frozen. These containers held up well, kept the food from frostbite, and even went into the microwave for a quick warmup.

THESE CONTAINERS WERE NOT EASY YO FIND BUT WALMART SELLS THE. SO FAR RUBBERMAID IS THE BEST BRAND OF PLASTIC FOOD STORAGE CONTAINERS. I NEEDED CONTAINERS THAT ARE MICROWAVEABLE.

My error, I should pay closer attention to what I am reading. I thought there were going to be 4 containers instead of three, but the “4” on the details of item was referring to sizing and not quantity. I think it's still a reasonable price, but given this is Rubbermaid's economy product, I think four would have been more appropriate.

These containers are a good option if you don't care that they won't last, you use them in a situation where you don't care if you get them back, or you use them in a situation where they may get thrown out. The seal is good, and they look good enough, but they will crack and stain easily.

I've always used these to reheat food in the microwave (without cover), and then put in the dishwasher (top shelf). Lately, they've been developing "etching" from the diswasher (crusty white melting spots). So, I have to throw them away. I generally use glass food storage, but these came in handy when away from home. These use to be better and able to withstand multiple trips to the microwave and dishwasher. So, the quality has declined, to single use only. I won't repurchase them. I use one Cascade pod per load, same as always.

The persin brought 4 sets of 3 items. crazy when I irder only 1 set. also 2 different types of bath inside covers. unbelievable. Now I have ti go to return it. I di not need that at 83 years old. I am not going to tip unless I check what she ir he did period
