Warning , wear a mask ! I took outside to test … I was coughing and choking !!! It's for a last resort attack by large animal or criminal human … I keep in a plastic zip lock bag then I slip it into the belt holster they sent with it… Not for children , teens, unsteady person . It is the best bear spray I've ever bought .. This will definitely stop and animal or criminal … but please wear strong mask..

The bears in our North Carolina mountain neighborhood are a little too comfortable wandering around looking for food. We sometimes have to walk our dogs in the evening and like having the spray with us incase they get too close.

Luckily we didn't have to use it but I practiced and it was easy to pull out of belt holder and easy to knock off the plastic protector and then reinsert it. I felt a lot safer having it.

I have purchased this item in the past and tested it out. It does shoot out at 40 feet as advertised. Highly recommend for personal protection as well as critter control!!

Picked this up prior to entering Glacier National Park. Glad I bought at Walmart. It's so expensive inside the park! This little weapon will save your life when faced with wildlife. It so easy to use. Little holster is great addition.

Have feral dogs in my very rural area %26 always coming on my property to fight with my dog %26 try to attack me. Even yelling etc. doesn't scare them away. I've used this product a few times now-it's ONLY thing that has worked in scaring them…AND I'm so glad the pepper spray is BRIGHT RED so I (and the dog) CAN SEE WHERE it's going (for my safety %26 running away dog's too). It seems to only spray about 20' tops, tho. Now, thank God, don't have to get pellet gun, as thought was my last resort!

Do NOT order this product on line!!! I accidentally ordered the wrong size and after 2 hours on the phone with customer service…with two separate customer service reps. assuring me I could return or replace this, I still could not. I'm very frustrated! Will NEVER order anything from Wal-Mart on line again! :(

I ordered this product for a hiking trip, but later learned this is a prohibited item on planes. I tried to return it - in store, in person, still in it's original packaging - and Walmart would not take it back, not even for in-store credit. If you are going to sell a product, customers should be able to return it. That's good customer service.

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT WANT TO RETURN. IT WAS NOT OPENED AND STILL THEY WILL JOT LET YOU RETURN. THAT WAS IN SMALL LETTERS. VERY DISAPPOINTED. YOUD THINK THEY WOULD WANT YOU TO SEE THAT PART. VERY UPSET.
