The particles are just slightly larger than I would like. This makes it a little harder to dispense than I'm used to, but it's still very usable.

The crystals are a little big, which makes it hard to spread in an even layer, but it worked and it didn't bother my dogs paws after he walked through it. Full disclosure, I did wash his feet off when we got in the house to make sure he didn't lick the residual off. it wasn't the coldest stretch of weather so I'm not sure how it works at colder temperatures but worked fine in the 20s.

Product was advertised as "pure Magnesium". What I received was 100g Sodium Chloride. In other words, Table salt!

This leaves a white dust and flakes everywhere and does not break down like it should. It was expensive for the size and unfortunately when buyers are desperate and need something for the winter and local Walmarts are out and they buy this which sometimes they might have to they really won't get a quality product

It burned dogs feet. I must have had a little cut and it burned my hands too. I couldn't break all the clumps up. It was like cement.
