Safer Brand Deer Off Waterproof Deer Repelling Stations - 6 Pack

Set up was easy, straight forward, simple to get everything put together. It's been two weeks and my smallish garden seems to be safe at the moment. Hopefully this remains the case, because the deer are cute and all but they need to stay out of my veggies!

I was excited to try this brand of deer repellent because humans can't smell it, but a deer smells it and runs away. The fact that it's waterproof is ideal for outdoor. Deer Off a a supposed to past all summer long and comes with 6 stakes so we can place them throughout our property.

Product seems good quality, time will tell if it works. Slight confusion on using the stakes included with the product, as the scent containers do not hang straight down when placed.

It does last longer than spray in versions since it is encapsulated by design. It's not the prettiest thing to see in my garden though. I'm not convinced this is for me.

At first I placed the deterrent on the ground in my flower bed, it was about 10 inches from my flowers and the deer still ate them. So I placed the deterrent on a stake and put it directly beside the blooms of my lillies and still, the deer enjoyed a nice midnight snack. Therefore, it does not work. For reference, I live in Ohio.

It simply does not work. Put 6 of them out in a small area close together on stakes provided. And there were four deer all grazing directly next to them. Absolutely not a deterrent whatsoever.
