Safety 1st Contemporary Tall-and-Wide Gate, Grey

Best gate ever. This is my second one. We had the first one for about 5 years and we have it for our dogs area and use it every day. It has been super sturdy and withstood lots of use, but was and still was a great gate. It just had a piece of the connector mechanism that broke and it wouldn't latch, but it was a user error on the mechanism getting broken. So I bought the same gate again knowing the quality is AMAZING!!

we've used this gate for a couple of months now and we like how easy it is to use. it keeps my grandson with me instead of roaming the house

This gate is awesome once it's installed. The latch system is fabulous and works well it's well constructed and I love the tall height! The only thing is when you're assembling it it is really confusing to know which plugs go in for which parts you're gonna use. So maybe try to find a YouTube video about it that might be more helpful than what they give you in the box. In the end I just started putting things that look like they fit in there and it ended up working. So the assembly is a little confusing but it's awesome once you assemble it

This safety first tall gate is functional and stylish. It works great. Is easy to install, and it is in a nice neutral color to go with most any decor. It is taller than your standard sized gates which is a plus for me being as tall as i am. I trust the Safety 1st brand. They make quality products to keep babies and toddlers safe.

My little one will soon be crawling so I have bene looking for a gate and this one by Safety 1st was the perfect choice. Until, she starts to crawl, I have been using this gate to keep my dog from going upstairs unattended. Installing this gate was super simple! The included directions were easy to follow. Within a few minutes my new gate was up and secure! Since I will be moving the gate once my little one starts to crawl, the gate is just pressure mounted. Once I move the gate downstairs to my bottom of my steps, I will use the included hardware to mount it to the wall. Even without using the hardware, the gate has a nice tight fit and doesn't move. The height and width of this gate are perfect. I like that the gate is adjustable and is able to fit many different areas in my home. It is easy to move from one location to another. The gate can open in both directions and is easy to open with one hand. The latch indicators are great as they give you piece of mind that the gate is closed properly. I also love the grey color of this gate as it blends nicely with my decor. If you are looking for a high quality gate, I recommend this one by Safety First. This would also make a great baby shower gift!

The product was pricy but necessary so we purchased. It was our second tall and wide gate but we have two other standard gates as well. Great product.

of you live in an old apartment building. the dooways are not quite big enough for the extension. so we had to add wood to get it to fit as the extenders dont. otherwise it held a 1 year old english mastiff. weighing 110lbs. it takes alot to hold him back. would purchase again

so hard to try put together. don't think the right attachment eye in box... sending back! all i acomplished was anxiety!
