I've been suffering through seasonal allergies this time of the year and was able to experience some relief by using this product. The lozenges are made with natural honey and did not leave an unpleasant taste in my mouth. They are soft and chewy and contain high levels of antioxidants.

I'm always looking for a product that supports my immunity. The Sambucol Black Elderberry seems to work great. It may not be the very best tasting supplement but its not terrible. In fact some of my friends like the way it tastes. I do feel it helps with my overall healthy lifestyle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love elderberry and it has such amazing healing properties that I'm excited to try new products that contain it. I also sing in a band so always looking for a product to help soothe my throat. These Sambucol pastilles have a consistency similar to gummy products but not as chewy. The flavor is yummy elderberry, just right, not overpowering or any other weird flavors added to it. The only issue I have is that it does not alleviate throat pain quickly and when it does it does not last nor does it work on an extreme sore throat. This is the type of product you might give to children if they have a mild sore throat. I had a bad sore throat due to post nasal drip/seasonal issues and while it did work it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These throat lozenges were ineffective in providing relief to my scratchy, sore throat due to a common cold. If you have a mild scratchy throat from allergies they may provide temporary relief. These have a very leathery and unsatisfying texture. The flavor is odd and it lingers.

These pastilles are like gummies but really hard; difficult to suck or chew on. Regular gummy texture amd softness with grape flavor might work better. There is little bit of sorbitol , stevia taste and the honey cannot be tasted at all. Doesnt taste natural. Not sure how effective it is either since not tasty enough to try more than 1 or 2. I will opt for liquid syrup.
