My dream drive would have been one capable of thunderbolt 4 /or 5 data transfer rates, but these cost at four-times more, and I couldn't justify the additional costs. The SanDisk drive I purchased is no slouch when used for storing large data sets, rather than part of a virtual memory. (I was not willing to pay for a high priced ego trip.) I've used the 1 TB red and white versions for several years for tertiary system backup: There have been no errors. A word to the wise: Your drive will arrive with access to SanDisk installation software--but before you consider installing it on a Mac or a PC--investigate whether your current OS would be a far better choice. Also, choose your file format thoughtfully: There is a trade-off between speed, cross-platform compatibility, and intended use. Finally, Walmart was not the obvious choice for this product, but it was half the price of that offered by a more specialized outlet. Important Lesson: Always include Walmart in your research!

wow wow wow all I can say is faster than I could have imagined it r rather maybe just expected. quality and disability they have obviously fixed from earlier critical of older models with blemishes or features and just an amazingly fantastic can't say enough of how much over the top this thing really turned out to be for me as a Friday recovery emergency management go to expert in the field. I need something I can definitely on and this is the one think I found that helped fill those needs!!!

This was an excellent price for this flash drive. I needed additional storage for my laptop and along with this drive and an attached stretch storage pocket on my laptop I have the storage space without the huge cost of buying a laptop with large internal storage. The drive is fast enough for photo file transfers and backup without waiting to use my laptop. And with Sandisk I feel confident that my files are safe.

I have regularly used these in varying capacities to either store collections of home movies for distribution to family members, or to backup primary hard drives as I prepare to replace computers. They have repeatedly proven to provide reliable data storage and are convenient to deliver to others.

This is a nice, small lightweight and FAST backup drive. I'm using it as external storage media for a higher end video camera, and it doesn't drop frames at 4K 60FPS RAW. That's a lot of data moving fast, and this thing takes it in stride. I wish these where a little cheaper (but that's all storage right now; thanks to AI needs) and I wish the cable connection was in the center, vs the corner, so that it would work better with my drive holder on the camera, but that's a minor gripe that probably isn't an issue for most users.

Hi-speed down and uploads, good and solid package SSD. I would have valued it more if it was priced lower than what I paid for it. I understand that there is high demand for SST memory as we, the individual customers, are competing with the AI centers.

I'm giving it a 3 because it was easy to return. The item was so poor (1), it literally needed to be reformatted after 1 use, then it would not reformat. Something was seriously wrong with it. But, the good thing is Walmart made it easy to return.

Absolute worse piece of trash I ever bought in my life. The unlocker application constantly freezes up the drive. Always a error trying to copy the smallest of files. If you want to lose your data buy this waste of money. Going to get my money back.

The usb-c port was not installed. Wal mart staff opened three others and none of them had the port either. Steer clear of the silver version of this device.

The SSD Device it's was actually NOT in the box!! It had been stolen; Very visible, too. Walmart staff do not care so they clearly as usual did not take the time to make sure at the very least that it h a d not been tampered with, especially for an $174.00 item!! Customer Service was EXCELLENT!!!
