Sauder Shoal Creek Nightstand, Soft White Finish

This night stand is very well-built, heavy duty. I could hardly lift the box when it got delivered. Ha ha! My husband help me put together the first one, but I put the second one together all by myself. Easy to follow instructions.

I purchased 2 to match my bed and the color was perfect. Looks great, more elegant than the price suggests. Easy to assemble. My eleven year old daughter and I did it in an hour!

I got this one on sale, very good price. I thought this would be a small nightstand But they are very good size and can put lots of stuffs inside drawer and the open space there. I highly recommend this nightstand to anyone. The quality is good. I bought two for my bedroom and I really love it.

I bought almost every piece to this collection, highly skeptical that I'd be able to put it together or that it would be as strong as I'd like. I'm not an especially strong woman and I put the whole set: night stands, headboard, toy chest, and dresser, together by myself. It does take some time, so clear a couple hours per each piece. Both of my night stands came in perfect condition and the whole set, excluding one edge of one board was perfect out of all five pieces. They're small, strong, and pretty. I love them and these were the first pieces I put together. The first one took about three hours because I was paranoid after reading the reviews for this collection, but the second one was done in under an hour and in fact the toy chest and the headboard were all very quick and easy after the first nightstand. (The dresser had a good number of pieces that took a while). I really love the drawers on these and the dresser too. Not the bookshelf headboard, however, those were terrible.

I looked everywhere...online, all over town and all that I found was overpriced nightstands - that it until I went to Walmart.com where I found the Shauder Shoal Creek nightstands! A great price, free ship to store - so easy and inexpensive! The most amazing thing is though they don't LOOK cheap...they really look good!! My bedroom went from drab to fabulous!! I would recommend these to anybody!

Love the look of this piece. It was actually pretty easy to put together as well. My only complaint is that the finish was not sealed properly to the wood so when we had our first unfortunate spill happen, the wood bubbled up immediately! No hope of saving it by being quick to grab a towel and mop up the water - it just instantly soaked into the wood. So just be aware, if you want the finish to stay looking perfect, dont risk a spill anywhere near the edges.

you definitely get what you pay for. it's not a great quality nightstand, i was a little bit disappointed that the edges are not white, the pressboard shows through as a little gray. however, for the price i paid and to be putting it in an 8 year old's room, its perfectly suitable.

This is just particle board and veneer. It arrived with the surface scuffed, and some pieces don't fit together 100% correctly to the point that you can tell at some joints that it's particle board. Disappointed I paid $70+ for this when it really has the quality of a $40 piece of furniture.
