I had basal cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose, on the side. I had one huge deep pass. As anyone who has ever had this surgery would know that means that they only had to cut the parameters one time. It took six weeks roughly for mine to heal. I chose to leave it and not get stitches or a graft. I am very pleased. After the wound was completely healed. I started massaging this on it two times daily after cleaning. You can barely tell that I ever had surgery! There are so many potions, lotions, and gels on the market. Most of them are so expensive! I did buy one of the top notch recommended brands and I'm telling you this worked equally as well and actually I think it may have worked a little bit better! Save yourself some money and buy this instead.

My doctor recommended this after surgery for skin cancer on my face. I have used it faithfully and 60 days later scars were unnoticeable with makeup. By 4 months, scars were not visible at all. I also used it on old scars and they have vastly improved. You can use makeup and sunscreen over ScarAway.

I use this a few years ago along with a couple of other things and my scar which was substantial did go away. It was a burn a water burn. It seems to me that I paid about the same thing for the scar away last time which was probably four or five years ago, but it was twice the size then. Disappointing that everything is so much more expensive in that companies are doing everything they can to discount the customer..

I was using the much pricier Biocorneum when I was advised by my doctor that the ScarAway brand is equal, except it doesn't include the benefits of a sunscreen. So for any hidden scars, especially those that are hidden in the colder months, this is a great money saver. It doesn't spread as well and I actually went back to my more expensive cream. Also, this is advertised as being a 3 month supply. It lasted me a few weeks. You would have to have a mini scar the size of a bug bite for this product to last 3 months.

I wouldn't recommend this. This is basically hype more than anything else; plus, for even the slightest difference, you'd have to wear it everyday for months, and even then it might just be slight fading. Silicone gel works best for raised scars, hypertrophic scars. On the face, the gel would definitely be better than the sheets. However, the gel is not doing anything significant, and I would recommend instead hydrocolloid (pimple patches) for small facial scars.
