Great bike for the money , buying another for my wife!
I just got the bike, 2 of them one for my husband too. It rides really well. I love the assist. One thing I am missing on my bike but my husband's has is the light switch on the control panel. Also I don't really know what that is for. Is it just for a show or does it really work? I tried the light switch but does not work. If someone know please let e know. Thanks
Ordered two bikes on June 25th for me and my husband and received June 30...FAST delivery! Really easy assembly. A couple of issues already with them though: The breaks on both bikes are S U P E R squeeky!!!! Not sure how to fix that but it's really annoying, and embarrassing! Second the "power assist adjuster" is acting up. We've noticed on both bikes that we will be riding along and look down to see the unit has shut off. Fortunately, we can turn it back on but I don't think that should be happening. Contacted customer service and had a LENGTHY conversation (via chat) to see what can be done as far as a replacement. We are able to replace the bikes but....the grey ones are out of stock (only pink left) and they aren't sure when those will be back in stock. What stinks is we were told that our return warranty is 30 days (which would be July 25) and we don't want to return the bikes we have until we are guaranteed 2 new grey ones. Unfortunately they do not have a date to give when the grey ones will be back in stock. So, unless they grey ones become available soon, we are stuck with squeeky breaks and a power assist unit that keeps shutting off.
Quick shipping. Secure packaging. Fairly easy to put together however instructions would have been good? Went on-line to get them. Few minor issue still working. Mainly the shuttering and squeezing rear brake. Adjusted, cleaned, followed various options. Did have to call Schwinn. They sent parts (I don't know how to remove/replace brakes) so I to spend more $ for a bike shop. No fun
Made for smooth terrain, didnt realize how uncomfortable it would be on our streets since theres no shocks on the back(if there is they arent visible). was easy to put together needed a few adjustments but overall good purchase for the price. If our streets were better id say 4-5
The bike itself seems well made and assembled. But the battery developed a fault after a less than 2 months. It will now only partially recharge and the power shuts off intermittently. we are concerned that if the power shut off on a hill the riders may fall off and injure themselves and the faulty battery is a fire hazard. Our emails to Schwinn customer service have not been answered
Bike arrived quickly and the assembly was simple. It was operating well and I enjoyed riding it, ( about a month) the peddle assist was good. Today I was riding home and the power just cut out. I started today with a fully charged battery and in less than a mile it just died. I plugged it back in when I got home, fully charged it and I still have no power. The power meter on the battery itself doesn't even register. I can't remove the battery so there is no way to trouble shoot it. previously I was getting about 22 miles a charge.
I purchased an ebike from Walmart on July 21, 2023. However, I discovered a defect in the battery on August 15, 2023 (still within Walmart 30 days return period on 15th). Following the instructions provided in the box, which stated, "If you have any problem with your purchase, please do not return it to the store. Kindly reach out to us directly". I contacted Schwinn bike for assistance on 15th . Unfortunately, up to this date (08/28/2023), they have been unable to resolve my issue. Now, I find myself beyond Walmart's 30-day return period, and they have declined my request for a return as well.
The front fork was welded wrong so you can't attach the wheel. What a piece of junk.
Quick assembly but I've been having problems powering the bike unfortunately with no success I will return it
