Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector and Stain Blocker Spray, 17 oz., 1 Can

Great quality rug protector. It has seemed so far to help provide a barrier against stains. The spray is fairly easy to get working, as long as you shake it well. You just need to ventilate with a window because of the strong smell with the Scotch Gard spray products.

I used this to protect a rug in front of my refrigerator. Spills always happen there! Its been 2 weeks now and the rug is still spotless. Even through the Thanksgiving holiday rush! The odor was not bad as other reviews said, I sprayed my rug in the house and never noticed a smell at all. Water beads up. Spilled food sits on top of rug, does not soak in. I am happy!

I used this to spray the rug underneath my dining room table and so far it has actually worked. No stains on the rug after a few spills.

I like to spray my rugs after they are washed - this gives them ore protection against stains and pills. Also making the next cleaning easier. There is no odor.

I managed to get 2 rugs done out of 1 can. They were both 8x10 rugs, and both have a lot of white in them so I was concerned about staining. So far, I haven't had any instances in which to test how well it prevents liquids from soaking in.

Seems to work but creates an unmanageable foam that ends up everywhere. The foam, when it is frsh and touches your bare skin, stings, making you wonder what's in this product?

I put this on the rugs to protect them from the dogs. I followed instructions and my rugs still look awful. Thank goodness for washable rugs
