I've been buying Scott tissue for years because of how long it lasts. It is soft enough, and each roll lasts much longer than a roll of other tissue. Compare the weight of a package of Scott tissue with the weight of a package of the same number of rolls of a light, fluffy brand, and you will see why it is worth paying more for Scott. It seems that it actually ends up being less expensive.

Scott brand of toilet paper is preferred brand for my septic tank. Good value for the money. Given that it isn't multi-ply, softness isn't the greatest but it's good value
