This really works! If you have patches and you put the seeds down, within two weeks you will have grass.

Watered it every day, kept it damp. And it worked! The mixture prevented it from drying out too quickly in the sunshine

Great product
Much better than the other Scotts combination Patchmaster. This has tall fescue seed in it. A more permanent repair. Mulch is great, fertilizer is a plus. Does take a bit more time to grow since it is fescue seed, but worth the wait. Can tolerate full sun. Great product

Less water is more!
Honestly, I have been using PatchMaster for years. I've had success and failure, but overall, I continue to use it. Word of warning - DO NOT OVERWATER. A little here and a little there is best. Do that and there's a good chance you will have success.

Waste of money
Total garbage. Followed directions, watered regularly, absolutely no grass growth. Would never recommend - even to my enemy. Avoid!
