This soil is the absolute best, I've made my own soil for years, took a chance on this and am so pleased.

I personally haven't seen results, but I have only been told it will do a great job

Great product. It requires a lot of water and weekly seeding. After seeding for a month, I have beautiful bright green grass. If you have weeds and tired looking grass, try digging those areas up first and then drop your seeds. When you expose your soil, you get really good results so you may want to remove all grass/grass roots (doesn't have to be perfect) to expose the soil, rake the soil so that you end up with a pile and then drop your seeds and cover them with the soil from your pile, water twice a day (morning and late afternoon) to get the soil muddy (how many times you water will depend on how long it takes for your ground to look chalky, avoid chalky looking soil). Reminder: drop your seeds once weekly. For my first seeding, I dropped enough seeds to cover the whole area. Each week I dropped a few less seeds. When you water the grass make sure your water isn't coming out so fast that it's moving the seeds around. The seeds will move a little though but that's okay because you're seeding weekly. If you notice an area not growing, focus on it during your weekly seeding. If you stop watering your seeds, just know that your ground is going to dry out and you will end up with a ton of weeds/flowers. I don't know enough about lawns to know why this happens but I've worked with this seeds several times now and had mixed results early on (learning curve). Here's another tip: weeds will pop up so be ready to pull them up. If the weeds keep popping up in certain areas, takes shovel and dig it the ground make a deep line. Film that line with seeds and push the soil back over it.

Love it. My yard looks better each year. i use only the Scotts products. They live up to my expectations.

I didn't get any real heavy response from seed on prepared law . Cost me a lot in watering.

This product produced nothing but weeds. There are more affordable options that produce better results. Don't waste your money.

It's been a month since I planted the seed. I aerated the yard, waited until temps remained in the 70's (quickly went into the 80's), and watered it every day. There is still no grass yet - very, very frustrating and disappointing.

Did not germinate after following instructions as detailed. Severely disappointed in product.

Usually do not have problem growing grass after aerating, lime and watering but wasn't able to get Bermuda grass to grow.
