iw works like advertised. Your grass will turn white in some areas, but it does go away. I noticed my lawn only turned white where weeds were, or trying to grow. Weeds came up, but started to turn yellow, and die eventually.
My lawn has never looked so good! No weeds or dandelions! I was amazed at how well it worked, and convinced once I looked across the street and saw my neighbors mine field of dandelions standing tall and straight! This is the only kind I will buy and have convinced my adult sons as well.
My husband loves to have a nice looking lawn but has been use to northern grasses and upkeep. We had a lot of bare spots and nasty old Bermuda in patches. I finally convinced him to try cutting it longer and use Scotts Turf builder for seeding with Scotts fescue for our Tennessee area. The lawn has never looked so good. We still have some spots that need some TLC but most of it has filled in and very little old Bermuda is present. It is thicker than it has been in the 11 years we have lived here. Thank you Scotts!!
Great Product for Seeding and weed control and weed prevention, I always use a Fall preemergent anyway for summer weed control. Scotts® Turf Builder® Triple Action Built for Seeding saved me a step and allowed me to clean up a few Fall weeds as well
It definitely killed the crab grass. I also put down the seed not sure if they were to go down together? It all turned white and i believe it will die off
Exactly the product I was looking for. Scotts fertilizer, crabgrass control and it works with new over-seeding. So far most of the weed seed that has sprouted has come up and then turned white and are slowly dying. The grass I planted looks great. I think over all its a good product
I have been a customer of your year-round program for several years. This year, you offered new entrants a free spreader. And left your long-time customers with their old, rusty spreaders. Not what I would consider fair or good customer relations.
I was hoping my new grass would darken in color& match my lawn That did not happen Also I have new weeds But it's too soon to say whether or not the weed preventer works
Didn't stop the weed issue like we wanted. Got a lot of different types of weed action. Used regular TriAction for several years and been very happy. Thought this would at least reduce the growth similar to the regular. Grass came in well.
I bought this because it said crab grass preventer. I got a bunch of crabgrass. So product does not prevent crabgrass whatsoever. I seeded my entire yard and prepared it well for the expensive seed and I agree with a fellow purchaser. It must have weeds seed or promote weeds in order to buy their other product. Preventer it is certainly not. A lot of hard work for nothing. See the pictures attached. I have seed growth but he crabgrass is overtaking yard. I would highly recommend that you do not purchase product that states Scott's. Now I have to go to battle with crabgrass. Picture show seeding process and all then all the crabgrass that fertilizer did not prevent.
