[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first flexible lighter. Very cool. Great for a fire shy person like me. I can light things at weird angles and feel safer for it. I do not have to risk my hand being above a starting flame. Good for getting into awkward candle jars. Maybe for the odd pilot light, too. This was a good idea. The flex does not seem to alter the strength of the fire in my experience. There is no extra button to hold down when lighting, which is a typical safety mechanism on these sorts of lighters. The push has a lot of resistance, though. You only need to push the one trigger button (a little harder than usual experience) and it will flame up. This is a feature everyone should consider, based on their intended use, like if you have kids around or if it would be stored in a moving bag or something. Lighter has been reliable and starts up as expected each time I use it. It does not get hot or anything, so you can tuck it in a drawer right after use. Scripto took a standard instrument and turned it into something a little more versatile with the flexible neck. Good on them for making it. I think every household could use one of these lighters in the kitchen for a quick flame.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect lighter for someone who loves to burn candles! I have burned my fingers so many times trying to use a traditional lighter to light candles, particularly ones with more than one wick. The lighter itself is 13 inches from end to end. The flexible end starting from where it comes off of the straight end of the handle is 5.75 inches with 4 inches of that being the flexible metal tubing area. The lighting mechanism is a trigger in the handle. It is a little harder to push for me with one finger so I have the use my thumb and other hand to assist so it would not be something easy if a small child happened to pick it up for them to light. So that does definitely make it safer. It did take a couple of times to light so there is that. There is a little sliding bar on the side to turn the fuel up more or turn it down less with a plus and minus sign for direction. The flexible portion bends easily and you can bend it as much or little as you like to get the angle you need for whatever it is you are lighting. It was very easy to pinpoint exactly where I wanted it and how much bend to light both wicks in my candle. This would also work great for pilot lights or grills because you do have the extended reach of the lighter end. I would definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super handy gadget I wish I had tried before. We make bbq almost every weekend and this lighter is super helpful. It lights up fast, stays consistent, and designed properly to eliminate any chance of hand injury. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the flexible feature of this lighter. It makes it easy to use. This has two different settings. One for a high flame, and one for a low flame. I use the low flame for lighting candles. Overall a good lighter. 5 out of 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a disposable aim n flame lighter. It’s great to have a flexible end which allows you to get in odd places that aren’t directly in front of you. It has an off on switch to keep it safe from young children. The switch can also control the size of the flame. It’s been checked for quality. Mine worked the first time I tried it. No problem. It says it has a larger than average fuel supply and in just looking at it, it does look like a bigger tank so I assume it will last for you for quite awhile. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a handy lighter by their fireplace, bbq, candles, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lighter works great. I like the bendable end. It makes it easier to light a candle that has a wick that has burned low in the jar. I would purchase this again for my candles. The switch is easy to light with one finger.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very convient lighter. We have multiples in our camper and our home. They are great for lighting candles or the burners on our grills. They are easy to use. The folding end makes it easy to fit so you can store in a drawer. The trigger is is simple to light.
It was sooo hard to do the trigger that I could not use it even the first time. my husband could barely make it work, clicking several times. junk
I bought this item and straight out the package it didn't even work. it doesn't ignite at all and it was cheaply made.
