RV'ers and Campers listen up! This is the best lighter I've ever used to light my hot water, heater, rv oven, too. The neck is long enough to protect from an accidental flashback and heat. The tip easily adjusts for akward angles. I always light my lighters with the tip up once I'm finished lighting an appliance. I want to be sure not to burn myself. I have confidence this lighter has been and will be my main lighting tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lighter is so versatile. It is great for a household use whether you love lighting candles to create ambience or a grill to cook a meal. The flexible extension can be adjusted to accommodate most angles you can think of which is very helpful if your pilot light goes out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first flexible lighter. Very cool. Great for a fire shy person like me. I can light things at weird angles and feel safer for it. I do not have to risk my hand being above a starting flame. Good for getting into awkward candle jars. Maybe for the odd pilot light, too. This was a good idea. The flex does not seem to alter the strength of the fire in my experience. There is no extra button to hold down when lighting, which is a typical safety mechanism on these sorts of lighters. The push has a lot of resistance, though. You only need to push the one trigger button (a little harder than usual experience) and it will flame up. This is a feature everyone should consider, based on their intended use, like if you have kids around or if it would be stored in a moving bag or something. Lighter has been reliable and starts up as expected each time I use it. It does not get hot or anything, so you can tuck it in a drawer right after use. Scripto took a standard instrument and turned it into something a little more versatile with the flexible neck. Good on them for making it. I think every household could use one of these lighters in the kitchen for a quick flame.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect lighter for someone who loves to burn candles! I have burned my fingers so many times trying to use a traditional lighter to light candles, particularly ones with more than one wick. The lighter itself is 13 inches from end to end. The flexible end starting from where it comes off of the straight end of the handle is 5.75 inches with 4 inches of that being the flexible metal tubing area. The lighting mechanism is a trigger in the handle. It is a little harder to push for me with one finger so I have the use my thumb and other hand to assist so it would not be something easy if a small child happened to pick it up for them to light. So that does definitely make it safer. It did take a couple of times to light so there is that. There is a little sliding bar on the side to turn the fuel up more or turn it down less with a plus and minus sign for direction. The flexible portion bends easily and you can bend it as much or little as you like to get the angle you need for whatever it is you are lighting. It was very easy to pinpoint exactly where I wanted it and how much bend to light both wicks in my candle. This would also work great for pilot lights or grills because you do have the extended reach of the lighter end. I would definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lighter is perfect for burning trash in a barrel and lighting hard to reach places, like a grill or furnace. The flame isn't as big as a regular light on high. Low setting is good for candles. The tube flexes great and can be bent in any direction. My only complaint would be the trigger is a little hard to squeeze and there's no safety on it. Wasn't enough for me though to give it less than 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love candles and use a variety of lighters (see pictures) I use my electric lighter the most except when it comes to the last bit in bottom of candles. The electric is shorter and the straight fluid filled is short as well. Having a longer one that can also bend so your hand doesn’t get burnt trying to light Iis a huge plus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aim-n-Flame Scripto lighter is great! Its ease of use is unparalleled, making lighting a breeze for anyone. The flexible end is a game-changer, allowing for effortless lighting in tight spaces or at awkward angles, perfect for grilling enthusiasts. Its reliability and convenience make it a staple accessory for any grill master, ensuring seamless ignition every time.
It was sooo hard to do the trigger that I could not use it even the first time. my husband could barely make it work, clicking several times. junk
I bought this item and straight out the package it didn't even work. it doesn't ignite at all and it was cheaply made.
