SecurityMan Sliding Door Security Bar, Adjustable Child Safety Lock, 18.75–51.1in, White

it was easy to install, and looks nice. I love the fact that you can simply push up and down on the rail, no more bending down to pull a stick out. only con I would say is that it could be a little more sturdy as far as material with a better anti-pull bracket.

this is in my opinion not a very secure sliding door security measure. It's just a tad too short to fit snug enough without the extension rod added and far too long with it added. I couldn't get it to stay put securely for my comfort levels to be met so I'm ending up having to return it. I'm honestly not sure if the newer sliding doors arent quite as wide as my old houses original sliding door is so I can't honestly say whether or not others might have the same dilemma as I do. Therefore I advise you to measure your width exactly to be certain. I would find this item a great deal for the money if it would've fit in my doorway and I would also recommend it if again it fits in the sliding doorway like it's designed to do.

Would not fit my 34.7 in door opening.. it was either too long ot too short. cut part off using a saw so it would fit. Then... when the door is opened all the way.. the receiver the bar goes into gets bent when it hits the bar mount. I have installed and used 3 of the competitors' units with none of these issues previously. I mean it works... butttt has real issues that will have me changing it out once can get the competitors unit in the colour I need.

used it for three days and would not pull out pressing the button on top of the bar

very good thank you

works great, adds another layer of security to your sliding glass door. have used them for years before picking up another one. the black color is hard to find. FYI.

I meant to buy a door security bar but this bar is for a sliding door. I am writing a review to earn $5.

It was pretty simple to install and easier to use. Feels very secure. And not bad looking, like the bar we use to wedge.

Excelent for my use, keep a toddler from wandering out. Great price, fast shipping. Very adjustable.

I originally bought a different brand at my local hardware store after we had an attempted break in, but it was flimsy. I ordered this one and was happy to find it was very sturdy in comparison. I swapped them out immediately and feel a lot more secure. Easy to install.
