best purchase. extremely satisfied
we love it. we needed something better than a piece of wood to keep our sliding glass door closed because our cats tend to open it and get out. this is perfect

Sturdy!
I originally bought a different brand at my local hardware store after we had an attempted break in, but it was flimsy. I ordered this one and was happy to find it was very sturdy in comparison. I swapped them out immediately and feel a lot more secure. Easy to install.

easy and simple
it was easy to install, and looks nice. I love the fact that you can simply push up and down on the rail, no more bending down to pull a stick out. only con I would say is that it could be a little more sturdy as far as material with a better anti-pull bracket.

Would not fit my 34.7 in door opening.. it was either too long ot too short. cut part off using a saw so it would fit. Then... when the door is opened all the way.. the receiver the bar goes into gets bent when it hits the bar mount. I have installed and used 3 of the competitors' units with none of these issues previously. I mean it works... butttt has real issues that will have me changing it out once can get the competitors unit in the colour I need.
