Work perfect just what I needed. This heater heats up very quickly it was easy to put together or (look it up on YouTube). I ordered two they both came in good condition the NEXT DAY. I love that it work by batteries (included) so you don't have to light it and it also come with a pump to help put the kerosene in it. So basically when you receive it all you need is your kerosene and it's ready to go. Only suggestion I have is when you 1st get your heater after putting the kerosene in wait 45 minutes to a hour before cutting it on (only when you 1st get it your heater) that's to let the kerosene soak the wick.
this was really easy to set up and use. it lit right up with the press of a button. it kept me warm for the winter. the fumes aren't bad as long as you get the flames at the right level. i watched you give videos for that. i filled the tank and it burned all day. i kept checking on it as it burned but there really wasn't any maintenance once it was lit for the day. the siphoning tool was easy to use too
This heater was purchased as back up heat for our home when we had a winter storm coming that could have knocked out our power. The testing of the temperature was great. It was easy to start and fueling was also super simple.
Great little heater for our cabin. Came well packaged, put together easily, just as described.
We were pleasantly surprised by this unit. It arrived early and well intact. Set up was easy. Everything is supplied right there for you. It's much larger than we expected but fits well in our small space. The output is great. Keeps our space well heated. Make sure you use quality kerosene. We found out that if you don't, the smell is horrible. And grab a carbon monoxide detector to be safe. Nice unit. I would buy it again.
Seems to be a decent quality built kerosene heater. It came with transfer pump which I missed if it was mentioned. Assembly wasn't too bad. I've only used it a handful of times, so long-time use is still to be determined. While I purchased it for a backup form of heat, I did use it while working in the garage and it heated the area well. Highly recommend pairing with a carbon monoxide detector (not included).
I purchased two heaters in October 2021 and it does a decent job of heating my great room. I generally only use one at a time as they do burn through kerosene pretty quickly. I go through a 5 gal container in about 34-36 hours but I am using it continuously and it’s been very cold. I have a question if anyone can answer. I am not clear what size wick replacement is the correct size. I prefer to buy locally rather than order. Home Depot and Lowes both have wicks. Has anyone replaced the wick? What size did you buy? Thanks in advance.
we were able to set up the heater area we needed it and use it. there was at first a little smell but it disappeared.
This has made such a difference to the comfort level of our home where we use this, our basement. It works well in a medium size room, In heats almost the entire 780 ft in an hour or so. It's easy to move with the handle, it looks nice and easy to fill with the included pump that was included in purchase. Big con: finding replacement wicks :(. We have looked at Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Rural King, Harbor Freight, Ace Hardware and Mennards. That's why the rating is a 3. It's not just this brand, it's any brand wick. If anyone knows where to find a wick for Kerosene heaters, drop me heads up, We would greatly appreciate it!
This heater works fine in that it produces heat. Other than that, it is lacking in just about every area. The protective grate is ilfitting and severely restricts the handle movement. The grate also blocks the filling area causing me to spill kerosene every time I refill it. The handle is poorly designed so that it constantly comes out of its port, leaving the hearing cap loose. This is a good idea but extremely poor execution. For the price point, I'd definitely not buy this again.
