This is an inexpensive way to store documents etc. A thief would more than likely be able to break into it, but my main concern is loosing these documents to fire. I do believe that the fire rating for this unit should take care of this problem. The safe arrived at the house undamaged by shipping.

Quite a hefty beast but does what we need it to do. Came quickly and undamaged. So far can't state that it does what it says and I hope I never have to. Been thru 1 fire, don't need another.

love the size not to big and not small. sturdy. has option to buy draws that fit in the safe. make sure to keep handle straight when doing code. at 1st may be a tiny bit rough the dile but smoothens out after a couple uses.

Love this small safe! Fire and Water proof - You can't beat that. All important docs are kept in this one! Finally, I don't have to worry about losing our most important docs.

I was very impressed with this safe. It weighs close to 100 lbs. and is very well made. I didn't know what to expect for $99, but I was very pleased with my purchase. I picked it up at my local Walmart instead of having it shipped to my house , because others had said that theirs was damaged in shipping. I figured the less people handling it, the better. Mine was in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this safe to others.

I liked the convenience of picking up my order at the store. I was helped within my order and I was leaving the parking lot within 2-3 minutes. I love the safe it just right. Not to small and not to big. I wasn't surprised with it at all. It's just as subscribed on line. I love shopping on line it was so easy!!

Can only give it 4 stars at the moment. Won't be able to give it 5 u til I see how it works against Fire and Water. Hopefully I'll never have to put it to the test though. Works well so far for me.

As with other reviews on this safe, it's not exactly easy to open. I don't like the plastic on the handle and combination dial. It looks cheap and it is cheap. It tends to be a little small. File folders won't fit in there but on their sides. It is suppose to be water proof if not drilled thru to install in floor. That explains the reports of condensation that some have experienced. Therefore you have to have silica gel to absorb moisture as with most safes. However this takes up more room in an already small safe. The good about this safe. For a fire protection safe along with water protection it's about as cheap in price as it gets. If you're on a limited budget and don't need much room for a few documents and valuables it will suffice. The interior is insulated against fire with a nice plastic finish. Shelves and drawers are available but only one shelf comes with the safe. Again I would recommend this to the budget minded but if at all possible I would up grade to a bit larger safe. Always buy the biggest safe you can afford. It's like a garage or shed; you WILL fill it up with something.
