This is an inexpensive way to store documents etc. A thief would more than likely be able to break into it, but my main concern is loosing these documents to fire. I do believe that the fire rating for this unit should take care of this problem. The safe arrived at the house undamaged by shipping.

love the size not to big and not small. sturdy. has option to buy draws that fit in the safe. make sure to keep handle straight when doing code. at 1st may be a tiny bit rough the dile but smoothens out after a couple uses.

Love this small safe! Fire and Water proof - You can't beat that. All important docs are kept in this one! Finally, I don't have to worry about losing our most important docs.

Our home was lost in a house fire 2 weeks ago. Everything we had in our safe was fine. The origin of the fire was below our bedroom, where the safe was kept, so the heat it went through was substantial. The dial and handle melted, but the contents were all fine, once we got into it. Will be buying another ASAP.

I was very impressed with this safe. It weighs close to 100 lbs. and is very well made. I didn't know what to expect for $99, but I was very pleased with my purchase. I picked it up at my local Walmart instead of having it shipped to my house , because others had said that theirs was damaged in shipping. I figured the less people handling it, the better. Mine was in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this safe to others.

I liked the convenience of picking up my order at the store. I was helped within my order and I was leaving the parking lot within 2-3 minutes. I love the safe it just right. Not to small and not to big. I wasn't surprised with it at all. It's just as subscribed on line. I love shopping on line it was so easy!!

Can only give it 4 stars at the moment. Won't be able to give it 5 u til I see how it works against Fire and Water. Hopefully I'll never have to put it to the test though. Works well so far for me.

A woman figured out the combination, this one can't be changed so not it's a 200 steel cabinet. Other than that it's nice size. Big bolts. Don't like that hinge is on the outside. That's how I thought she got in it. Don't know about fireproof. The shelf is flimsy plastic. It broke the first week. It has its pros and cons just like any other safe but I'm going with something that I can change the combo on.
