Sevin Garden Insect Killer Ready to Use Dust, 1 Pound Can

The Sevin dust is a wonderful bug blocker for my garden. I use it as needed. (have used this product for years) The Sevin liquid based product though I would rate a 3 of 5 at best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted some cabbages this spring and this Sevin powder saved my vegetables from bugs eating my brassica plants! I highly suggest using this late in the afternoon when the bees are gone for the day and then rinse the plant in the morning or cover your plants with nettings where bees can't get through. I am very satisfied with this product. It last a long time and it's definitely a staple in my garden.

I was having issues with earwigs and snails destroying my plants, but no more! This stuff really works :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sevin-5 Ready-To-Use 5% Dust comes in a shaker container. The lid screws off easily, but the pop top to shake it out is hard to get open. There is a cover over the shaker holes, but it isn't sealed on the inside, so when I unscrewed the lid some dust poured out. I had to use a twig to push the paper cover out of the lid. Once I got past the packaging, the dust is very fine and shakes out easily. I was able to apply this to the dirt around my plants. I have not noticed any bugs, but it is early in the season so only more time will tell. I plan to continue applications to keep the bugs away. Excluding design flaw the product itself seems to be working well so I left it at 5 stars. I won't really know more until the end of the growing season when I remove the dead plants from the pots because that is when I find if there are grubs in the dirt or not, but so far so good. I like that this covers so many different types of bugs in one product. I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to keep Japanese Beetles off my roses. In the past, I've used Neem oil, Bayer 4 in 1, and Spectracide. None worked at all. I would pull Beetles off and spray them. Some did nothing while others it took 20 minutes before it finally started slowing them down. I've also tried traps which did nothing to help my roses. So far, Savin has worked much better than all else I've tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to use my Sevin product on my bleeding heart bush in my front yard. It is very easy to use, one application and could be re-applied if necessary. I would definitely recommend this product as it is affordable and super simple to use. It not only is good for plants, but also for vegetables which is an added bonus.

Size of container misleading as to quantity of procduct. The container was less than half full although probably is 1 lb net weight as shown. Could do more in reducing pollution. The Sevin powder worked miracles though on an underground colony of yellow jackets that I had tried burning out and drowning with dish detergent which only succeeded in me being stung several times.

This Seven Dust works good in my garden I don't like to use chemicals on my vegtables But when the bugs are eating up all the leaves You must do something! This stuff helps a lot to deter them in garden and my hickory nut tree(Which was infested With japaneze Bettles Thanks for product worry less with my produce!

They are not sending 5%. I don't knyif Sevin no longer makes it, or if Walmart doesn't know the difference, but it's not what they are sending. Expect to receive the regular 0.1% dust that is pretty useless.
