Sevin Ready to Use Insect Pest Killer, 1 Gallon Liquid

After spraying we noticed instantly that the spiders didn't like it and ran the other way. It works fast and is very effective, exactly as I expected from Sevin. I would use this again. We only used 1/3 of the bottle so it will be good for many uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sevin has been around for as long as I can remember, with a reputation for being effective. This is the first time I have used it. My new home has a ton of shrubs and a longer pest season, so the GardenTech Sevin Insect Killer is just what I need. The delivery design feature of this ready to use product is commendable. I really like the convenience of being able to grab and go with the spray bottle when I identified pests to spray. Personally, I find this grab and go feature far superior to having to mix a product with water in a separate spray bottle and then having to wash it when you're done. The latter is a deterrant to me to use. So I am really pleased with this quick and easy to use solution. TIP: do NOT remove the 'holster' for the spray nozzle from the bottle. I did removed it before connecting the hose, and then had nothing to park the spray handle into when not in use. I used this product on shrubs (roses, gardenias) and flowers to successfully control beetles, spiders and whatever was eating my Mexican Petunia leaves during the night. It really helped. I even used it on flies and maggots in the outdoor garbage can. (The grab and go feature was very handy here). The only con I see is that when opening and closing the twist nozzle (where you adjust the spray/stream pattern), I tend to end up with a little of the product on my fingers. This wonderful 1.33 gallon of Sevin Insect Killer is a must have in our home now. To start, it is so easy to use. It has a battery operated sprayer to use to go around and spray our plants, trees, vegetables, whatever we have in our garden. When I say easy to use, I mean, It does not require any measuring at all to spray out plants which is great to know. The best part is that it tackles over 100 different insects that might attack our garden in different areas. Things we might not even think of, it can handle and I totally love that. We can use it from our flowers and trees to even our edibles like fruits and vegetables which is awesome and I love it. It is safe for all our garden. No need to but separate products, just one and that is it. Best of all is that is actually does start working within a few days. You see your favorite plants, flowers, herbs, whatever it is you are treating go back to it's living state in just a few days. So you see why I say it is a must have to have on hand to tackle all those different types of nasty insects that we might get in our garden. Just spray some of this easy to use point and spray and wait for it to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ready to use spray bottle made this an awesome weapon to use. I spray Sevin around my porch and my Tomatoes Plants; I planted. It did wonders checked the leaves daily for insects, none was anywhere. I sprayed the rest of the outside around my flowers and watermelons and they are still looking great. The Order wasn't strong, odorless, I didn't smell anything and that is a great thing most spray leaves a long lingering smell. This is a wonderful product to have! My family is also going to try it now. They were amazed how well it worked.

I like the spray handle since I can target bugs that were under the leaves of my eggplants or ants on the ground without having to spray areas that don't need treatment like my basil plant. The instructions say it is safe to use on your vegetables from 1 day before harvest for things like broccoli, and brussel sprouts, 5 days for tomatoes, 14 days for onions and 21 days for corn. Just make sure you wash all your veggies before eating them as you normally would. This product kills over 130 types of bugs without harming your plants. You can use it on flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawn too. I'd definitely purchase this form of Sevin spray for the convenience and controlled spray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this a little while to see how good it works. It actually did such a good job of keeping bugs out of our garden and off our plants. My husband sprinkled a little around our tomato plants and pepper plants. Our tomatoes are growing free of any holes, bugs sitting on them, and or flying around them. I was so happy not to have to mix, measure or add water to this product. I also added a little around my hydrangeas in my flower bed.

This time of year so many bugs are coming out I could barley get in through my front door without being bombarded by all types of flying insects. I sprayed on and around my door as well as the lawn near the entry ways and have seen a significant decrease in dead bugs on my door and live bugs roaming around. It has also helped with ants. Only down is the scent, it is a bit strong. But I would definitely recommend!

I received this Sevins today and the gallon was empty and all of the liquid was in the bag it was tied inside of. The top was even taped shut like it was open before. Wasn't packaged very well at all.
