I Ordered Shadow of The Tomb Raider and it is one of the best action games I've played yet, with a storyline that doesn't fail to draw players in to a exciting action-packed story to give players that good for gaming thrill!
In keeping with the newest Tomb Raider games, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a beautiful game worthy of 4k. The developers did a great job with the camera angle and cinematic scenes to help you immerse yourself in the game and really feel like you're a character in a movie. The game has a great mix of puzzle solving, exploration, and action, and really gives you a feel for what it's like to be Lara. So much fun and executes well on all the elements I would expect for a game like this! I am writing this as part of a contest.
I am a huge fan of uncharted series and I was skeptical to try this game since its first time I am trying out Tomb Raider in PS4. But to my surprise I was not disappointed. The plot is simple, Lara is trying to save the world from a Maya apocalypse. Shadow of the tomb raider's impressive world features the best action sequences, puzzles, graphics and the details are one to be noticed. I played this game in PS4 slim , not sure how it will look in Pro though. The environment is much bigger than anything I have seen especially the hidden city of Paititi. The cut scenes are amazing and there is personal touch to this game, I felt bit attached to Lara especially during the flashback sequence. I also felt that you can interact with the environment, like Lara can use mud as camouflage, plants Lara can eat which gives her temporary powers. Only feature which I didn't like was usage of weapons, in uncharted where the usage of guns are higher but in tomb raider, I felt its less. Its more stealth approach, bows and arrows. But again considering the jungle environment where the makers want the players to use Jungle to its advantage , I think that can be forgiven . My verdict is, its worth every penny and personally I can't wait to see Lara's next venture. I am writing this review as part of a contest
I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I wanted to get an honest review after completing the game so here goes: The game and setting reminded me a lot of the uncharted / metal gear solid series. The focus of the game depends on your sneakiness and stealth combat. It adds a unique twist on how games with similar themes can offer a refreshing perspective without being redundant. I did enjoy the addition of new weapons (such at the bow and arrow), and the combat of the game offered an elevated experience from the last tomb raider game. The graphics and settings within the game are beautiful, (as expected from Square Enix) however there are some issue with loading bigger areas. This is very negligible as the this never hinder my gaming experience. The story plot did have some flaws, but Square Enix did their best to offer a streamline store that ties in with the objective of the game. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would loves immersive RPG's. I am writing this review as part of a contest.
Ive been waiting for this game for 3 years and i cant wait any longer! The first game had me doubting the reboot and the story of the Laura, but i was so WRONG!! The game instantly pulled me in to the story of Laura and the challenges she faced on the Island. The Narrative and the graphics of the first game were jaw dropping; and from what i got to play and see in Shadow of The Tomb Raider its even more amazing and beautiful than the last. From what i saw the story is darker, the graphics are beautiful, the puzzles are more challenging, and the more you discover the environment of the game the more you will discover about Laura Croft. I cant wait to get a copy and spend countless hours exploring every inch of this map! *I am writing this review as part of a contest
Amazing game! Graphics, shadows, and movement are unreal! Story is great, and there's plenty of side mission objectives to keep you busy.
Item arrived in perfect condition.Great game.
Pretty good game, hours of play, so many missions, not bad
If you're looking for an educational gift for your children, I would stay away from this game. However, if you enjoy Tomb Raider games, the discoveries/quests, storyline, the climbing/platforming, I have no doubt you would also enjoy Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For beginners of the game, this is a great first game to play (you can buy the other ones if you like this one). It truly would be a great Christmas gift and although not 100% historically accurate (they lump Mayan and Incan civilization together), it gives a young person a great chance to interact with what civilization might have been like for these ancient South American civilizations. Anyways, I's recommend this game as a gift. I am writing this review as part of a contest.
