The Shark Navigator Zero-M Lift-Away Speed Upright Vacuum ZU560 has five important floor care features. These features make vacuuming more interesting, and how easy it is to use the features makes vacuuming lots of fun. I like how the power switch has the brush role selections right on it for the surface being cleaned, carpet or hard floor. I used the hard floor switch to vacuum flat indoor-outdoor carpet and it worked fine because it spins slower. It did not use so much suction that it pulled the threads out as other vacuums have. When I use the carpet setting, this Shark has very strong suction, so I really like the lighter suction hard floor setting, too, instead of just a low-high floor height setting. I like that this can be selected when pushing the power button because then I do not forget to set the floor type. Also, a suction control collar located on the handle works very well at reducing the suction to prevent the vacuum from inhaling a plastic bag or my throw rug. The collar opens air holes to reduce suction and closes to increase suction. The brush roll has a green light to indicate it is working and spinning right that turns solid red if something gets jammed. It flashes red if the brush roll nozzle gets too hot. The handle and/or the entire wand can be released to use attachments. Maneuverable steering has a large amount of swivel permitted by smaller rather than larger-sized wheels. It swivels on carpet and hard floors picking up dirt from tight angles. Upright, the suction is powerful vacuuming the carpet and floor. To vacuum using Lift Away, the pod can be removed from the floor nozzle and used with the wand. Carrying the dust bin and motor pod without the cleaner head brush roll, I can go to my car, up stairs, walk around the room, and reach harder to get to and tight places. Lift-Away makes it possible to deep clean areas unreachable to the upright vacuum, such as around clutter and above the floor spaces. The anti-allergen feature obviously makes me feel the fresher air because there is no smell of dust and allergens given off like other vacuums have. The dustbin removed instantly, emptied without any dust cloud at all, and dropped back lightly onto the pod snapping itself right in, fully sealed. Gaskets seal every opening to trap allergens and dust inside with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology. Both the dust and HEPA filters are fully washable and reusable. It seems the lower 5A-6A amperage allows some bit of slowness for the hair to be removed from the brush. First picked up by the deep cleaner head, short, pet, and long hairs are removed actively, using a comb and a bristle guard that separate hair from the brush roll, remove hair from the bristles, and make it go directly into the dustbin. This Zero-M technology causes hair to get fully taken away from the brush roll. It looks like this is because of how the roller is surrounded by four thick, strong wires that comb hair in between the roller bristles. This system works wonderfully well because there was not one hair on my brush roll and usually there are many long hairs. At 13 pounds this durable vacuum remains stable when extending the attachments to reach far for cleaning. A full capacity of 2.2 quarts has lots of room for masses of dust, hair, and whatever needs vacuuming up. With 25 feet of cord I can drive this vacuum all over my rooms and halls to get the entire area sparkling clean. This Shark Navigator Zero-M Lift Away has the two best attachments for my home. The Duster Crevice Tool has a soft brush on it that pushes down over the end of the tool, and when I adjust the suction on the handle to low, I can vacuum dust off everything without sucking any objects into the vacuum. I can finally dust anything with ease, such as dust on paper or plastic, on small objects, and on mini-blinds. Then, with max suction and the brush, I go along the edges of anything and the brush frees up spider webs, bugs, or stuck on dust on the baseboard. The crevice tool edge is hard plastic and alone it does not get into all places, but with the brush on the end of it maximum versatility is provided using of the crevice tool. The second enclosed tool, the Hair Removal Multi-Tool is a square upholstery tool with a blunt rubber bristled cover for easily removing hair from carpet and furniture.

Shark Navigator Lift-Away is absolutely awesome! I was able to set it up with ease; I had no problems. I love the way this vacuum is light weight, powerful and glides easily around corners and under furniture. It worked really well on my tile, and hardwood floors. Using the vacuum in Lift-Away mode is very simple. All you have to do is press a few buttons to lift it away from the main unit and it's easy to carry around. I have pets and it was nice to have the crevice tools to use on pet hair and dust. My sofas, and headboard looked like new. I've never had a vacuum that allows for full function use, and a lift-away mode which I completely love(genius). Emptying the vacuum was simple, and putting it back on the unit was easy. If you are in the market for a vacuum with these wonderful features, you've found the right one in Shark. I am very pleased with my vacuum, and I highly recommend it.

I knew that I was going to like this vacuum. I have been using one at work for the last 6 months and was impressed how well it has held up on daily vacuuming hair from 3 dogs, 5 kittens, 4 adults and a random goat or 2 in the house. At work, I use their Shark vacuum on vinyl flooring, there is no carpet in their home. The Shark came in 5 pieces that effortlessly snapped into place in less than 2 minutes. As I was putting it together I told my daughter excitedly, this is a newer version than what they have at work! It has a feature to switch from hardwood flooring to carpet. Never using a Shark on carpet, I went directly into my room to give it a try. Now mind you, I vacuum my room weekly with another big named vacuum, I started to vacuum, and I looked down at the catch canister and thought it was foggy. I thought for a split second that it was broken. Upon further investigation I realized, NO, that is dirt and hair in there! I was so grossed out! My other vacuum is not cleaning at all! My carpet after vacuuming looked amazingly clean! I liked that the handle is long enough that I am not hunched over when vacuuming. The vacuum itself is lightweight and it comes with 2 attachments for cleaning upholstery and hard to reach places. The hose clicks out with one simple push that can be used to clean cobwebs and in between, under and around furniture. The canister also has one click release and dump feature. I am very pleased with this vacuum and highly recommend it. I am so excited to vacuum the rest of my house to see what my other vacuum was missing!

This is my review of the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Zero-M Speed ZU560. What a great light weight vacuum. I have used it several time and it has not disappointed me at all. It really does a good job on the carpets throughout the house and does just as good on the hardwood floors. What I like most about the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Zero-M Speed ZU560 is the lift away feature. It is so light and easy to remove from the pole and brushes. You have several options on how you can use the Lift-Away feature. You can use it with just the handle and one of the attachments. I guess this is the only negative I have about the Shark Navigator, is that there is no place for the second attachment. I do not know why they would make a place for one attachment and ship two with the vacuum. Okay back to what I was talking about. The Lift-Away feature can be used with the long tube, also. This is good for reaching high places, like the ceiling fans and other areas that could use a good vacuuming every once in a while. I like the light weight of the Lift-Away canister. I used it to vacuum out the Mini Van and I could reach everywhere without straining and could switch between just using the handle or the longer pole. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a light weight vacuum, with many options.

The Shark Navigator Lift-away vacuum is simply wonderful. Having multiple pets, a good vacuum is a must. Before I received the Shark vacuum, I was busy and had neglected vacuuming our dining room rug where several of our furry critters hang out. It was disgusting, so that was the first rug I tried out the new vacuum on. (The vacuum has an adjustment lever for suction and I put it a little less than halfway to MAX just to see how it worked.) Wow. Just one pass and -dog and cat fur- gone. I filled the entire cup on that rug alone. (If anything, the dust cup could be bigger but thats no big deal.) The cup is easy to empty (opens easily top and bottom to get everything out-unlike my other vacuum that is a nightmare to get stuff that got in around the filter part in top and I end up dumping stuff back on the floor struggling to get it open to empty. It goes from area rugs to bare floor seamlessly. It has what they call Zero-M technology that “actively removes hair wrap from the brushroll as you vacuum”. Apparently that works well, as I've had no need to turn vacuum over and bother with unwinding caught hair (which again was problem with other vacuums). The lift-away feature to get to nook and crannies is another great feature. Also, the swivel head on the brushroll is nice maneuvering around chair legs and such. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vacuum, particularly to homes with pets! Love it!

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Zero-M Speed ZU560 Vacuum, you will never want to any other kind. It boasts several features that make that make it the best vacuum I have ever owned. For example, the Zero cleaner head that is designed to keep hair (and string) from wrapping around it. Then there is the hard floor as well as carpet power settings, that allows you to clean your floors no matter what they are. It also has a swiveling head the navigates beautifully. The lightweight (a little more than 13lbs) detachable canister also has HEPA filters that traps all the dirt and dust. The filters are easy to clean with just warm water and a little dish soap; the whole vacuum snaps and unsnaps to come apart so easily my four-year old has no problem taking it apart or putting is back together. The Shark Navigator Lift-Away Zero-M Speed ZU560 Vacuum with its detachable cannister, attachments, HEPA filters that are easy to remove and clean, or the Zero cleaner head, that effectively continuously removes hair from it, this vacuum a dream. Shark Navigator Vacuum received recently is very easily assembled. Everything clicks into place. Not a lot of parts, its one two three. It looks very modern, color- blue and clear silvery. I immediately tested its power and am totally amazed. It is very easy to operate and maneuver. The vacuum head and brush move beautifully, swiveling on carpet or floor, left and right or straight, the way you move, it will go. This Navigator is light . The handle comfortable. Very simple to operate, step on the foot picture on the cleaner head and it will bend towards the floor, press the red "On" button and a green light goes on at the right side of the cleaner head, and you are ready do go. It glides with ease. It is low noise. Very powerful suction. You don't feel the suction, but see the dust and dirt in the container. Its amazing. I've attached my picture of the dust cup container, full of collected dirt and dust after I had vacuumed my 3 rooms, which were originally vacuumed just 2 days ago with another vacuum. It is amazing how much dirt this Navigator got on a carpet which I thought was clean. The container was 3/4 full of dust and dirt. It got so much more out that I was totally shocked and had to share it in my picture. The Shark Navigator is so detailed and so strong so efficient, cleaning with such ease, but with so much great power. I did my 3 rooms all in one shot and wasn't, even tired. I love this vacuum. It has an Anti Allergen complete seal dust cup container that lets you breathe better because it clears all the allergens out of the carpet/floor. I have a dog and cat so lots of hair, and this Navigator got it all. No hairs got stuck in the brush head, because it is built especially to keep it hair free. It cleans itself you don't have to bother cutting hairs out of the brush roll. It is fantastic. Easy and great in all aspects of cleaning carpets/floors. The brush head is always clean after you finish vacuuming. I vacuumed my couch with the lift away hose attachments. The couch looks much brighter in color now, I didn't even realize how dusty it was. This vacuum is not large, it is compact, extremely powerful and efficient and modern technology in every part of it. Its unbelievable how wonderful it is in controlling dust and allergens. I recommend it highly. It does not take a lot of space. Dump the dust out from the dust pan after every use, because it will be full. Its washable, removes in a snap, you never need bags, its all clean and nice. GREAT.

I used this Shark once a week for a month. I have very long hair. There is also a golden retriever here, too. My photos prove that the brush roll stays hair free. Here is a list of my PROS and CONS: PROS: 1. Excellent suction 2. Good edge cleaning 3. Duster tool has nice long flexible bristles 4. Vacuum cleaner doesn't topple over easily 5. Power head has door on bottom to access brush roll if it needs cleaning (never does!) CONS: 1. Waste cup could be a little larger 2. Power cord could be longer 3. Main handle and waste cup handle felt large for small hands 4. Missing side handle on waste cup used to turn up side down 5. Power head barely fit under lower kitchen cabinets, tight fit there

First off I'd like to say this vacuum is pretty cool! You can take the canister section off & walk around with it for stairs or your car!!! It came in a really pretty blue color. Now past its coolness it has some great suction & works really great on tile floor. It has a slider on it for longer or shorter carpet. At first I didn't realize this & was like what is wrong with this, but as soon as I switched it it glided over my carpet with ease. It comes with a few attachements that make cleaning down in your couch or other crevices. This also comes with a washable filter so no extra parts to ever buy! The vacuum is a little on the louder side in my opinion. That's what I took a star off for that & it could use a little longer of a cord as well. All in all though it's a pretty awesome vacuum. I mean I dispise having to cut my hair out of the roller. In time will tell how well it does of “cutting” my hair for me. That's a huge bonus of this vacuum.
