I have a previous 5 year old Shark vacuum which was not great. After a lot of research I decided to go with the reviews and try it again. Very impressed this time around. It mapped out my larger home after 1 pass with more details a few days later. Shark has definitely made great improvements.
• Summary: This robot vacuum with a self-emptying dock provides a very convenient and reliable cleaning experience. From the visible text, it features dirt and edge detection (so it avoids bumping into furniture and skirting boards), adjustable suction levels, spot cleaning, scheduling via an easy-to-use app, and the ability to self-empty during a clean and then resume. The unit appears to find its base easily and has reported no errors during cleaning sessions. • Pros: self-emptying base, intuitive app, multiple cleaning modes and suction levels, good obstacle/edge handling, saves time by reducing manual emptying. • Cons: routine maintenance of brushes and sensors is required; battery life and noise level cannot be verified from the photo alone. • Recommendation: a great choice for households wanting automated daily cleaning with minimal fuss. Check the battery runtime per charge and warranty/support options before purchasing.
This Shark robot vacuum stands out for its excellent connectivity, allowing easy control through the app to schedule cleanings and monitor its status. Its strong suction power effectively picks up dust, pet hair, and debris from different floor types. In terms of functionality, it combines vacuuming and mopping, providing a more complete cleaning experience with minimal effort. Its solid construction suggests good durability, while the self-emptying base helps reduce daily maintenance. Additionally, its advanced navigation system efficiently avoids obstacles and ensures thorough coverage throughout the home.
We bought this a little over a month ago and have been very pleased with how it cleans I have found that cleaning the filters and the Dustbin once a week helps it perform it's best. We have a husky that sheds Non-Stop and the attached pictures you will see what this thing picks up just out of two rooms that it cleans daily per week. I have noticed that on random days as you will see on the calendar the days that don't have a green circle on them are days that the robot did not clean when it was scheduled to do so. I'm not sure why that is but have found like I said if you keep it clean filter and Dustbin once a week it does perform better. I like the fact that it is able to transition between rooms even when there is an inch or two transition with no issues. I just found it stuck for the very first time last night when it got a hold of the plastic bag underneath the tree skirt for our Christmas tree it got wrapped around the wheels which then it sent me notification letting me know that it was stuck. I got this robot because I was tired of seeing how much fur from our husky was adding up throughout the week I'm usually gone during the week and home on the weekends so I got this to help my wife who has fibromyalgia with helping keep the house clean and take some of the burden off of her as her Fibromyalgia causes extra pain while cleaning the house. I highly recommend this robot vacuum and if you are on the fence about it just buy it you will thank me later 😉 The app is simple to use and the robot "Rosie" picks up a lot of dust and dog fur. We have hard wood floors and large area rugs in the rooms where she cleans. This review is for the Shark detect pro robot.
my last shark i bought 6 years ago it would first vacuum up and down rows in every room in my apartment then it would go crossways in every room in my apartment and the bathroom rugg was sometimes distorted never got really clean this robotic vacume scans the room and vacuum my liveing room my studio and kitchen and it cleans everything on my floors and the bathroom is clean the bathroom rugg is clean and its not even moved but it's clean and it does all this very efficiently i absolutely love it my life just got easier with floor cleanings
Pros: cleans well. I have 2 cats and a dog and this vacuum does a good job of keeping the floors clean. I like the fact that I can set "no go" zones and don't have to worry about taping off areas like some other models require. Cons: battery life isnt the greatest and it is a bit loud. The shark clean app is not very good. It has made me want to throw it a couple of times.
This product is very good for any reason is good for cleaning the design is very good and maintenance all the house cleaning is very professional
Got this one last year November and I would say it's pretty good to have I liked the auto detect feature and the mop, though the vacuum not really strong on my opinion but I like the mop feature because it makes my house feels really clean. Overall I love this product for everyday use
Worked for 3 weeks then had to go to warranty to replace the battery and top cover....the button to the unit stopped connecting to my wifi after just 3 weeks. Would like purchase the Shark robot again. Have always had Irobots in the past...worked great. Thought I'd try the less expensive model this time around. Not worth the change.
I haven't even had a chance to use my vacuum considering they sent me a used one!!! Trying to get a refund currently and a return
