You can't go wrong with Sharp products. When I received my first clock the seller didn't say anything about it not having an electrical power source. You had to plug it into a USB port (which didn't work for me. Walmart accepted the return, gave me a refund and didn't require that the item be returned. This 2nd clock is perfect for my needs.

I really needed this clock. It was getting hard to make out the numbers at night because the size of the numbers. This clock has 1.8 inch numbers and it has where you can turn the brightness down for nighttime if needed. Easy to set the time on the clock. It also swivels if you need to turn it towards or away from you. Has an alarm also.

Nicely made and looks good. Easy to read, large red numbers. Others have asked if you can adjust the volume or the brightness. I have not seen a need for either of those options and do not believe this clock has them. t works great for us. No buzzing or sound from the clock and no issues with the alarm or lighting. Also has battery (not included) back-up optin for power outage. Recommend it for visibility and reasonable cost.

I owned this same model clock that lasted for several years, but I kept knocking it of my nightstand until it finally broke apart, but it was still working. So, I bought this one, of the same model hoping it is as good as the first one. It has large numbers display and a loud alarm. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this thing! And I didn't have to tear the box apart to get it out—had two button-sized dials you simply unscrewed by reaching in the opened box, and unscrewed from the base of rhe clock and it came out easily—nice touch, very clever. Will get good use out of it, such nice big numbers, easy to see. Two thumbs up!

Large, bright display is easy to see across the bedroom. It plugs into normal outlets with 60 cycle AC current, so that the clock can use the 60 per second changes to keep perfect time over any day, week, month or year. If your electrical power blinks or is off for several hours, this clock will use its internal clock circuits to keep the time, if you have installed an optional 9-volt battery in the bottom of the case. The battery will last its shelf life, since it is not used when the AC power is on. This is a full function clock AM-PM aware clock, and is easily settable with its 3 buttons. I opened the box, put in a fresh 9-volt battery, plugged it in, set the time to 7PM, and have not touched it since that day. It always displays the time that matches my computer and my phone. I have had several power interruptions, often just a few seconds, and the clock is not affected at all. Light intensity and alarm volume is settable, however, I just use it for time. Even the smallest clocks plugged into AC outlets have alway been very accurate, and so is this one. Very reasonable price for an LED display clock that will likely last decades.

Functional digital clock. No assembly required. I wish it had a radio, would match a bit higher price for "just an alarm clock. (Shrugs) I would refer, if you're in need, as myself with a simple alarm clock (wish it had a radio though) that can be viewed quickly in the dark.

It was for pt with dementia could not see to keep oriented to time. Worked great for someone rgat does not want AI tal look up didn't mean it's not hard cause it's kind of a little. It's OK though you'll be OK. You quit bleeding all your chicken inside out.

Bought two of these alarm clocks and returned both of them. Do not waste your money! first one I bought would not keep accurate time. it was always slow and had to correct the time. second one that I purchased. would set it for a.m. alarm and it would go off in the evening. piece of junk.

We bought one of these and it worked fine so we bought another. The second unit has a persistent hum/buzz which is only loud enough to hear at night when things are quiet, but we can't sleep with it in the room. I unplugged it and we won't use it.
